Oooh Grizzly, i remember that as a kid. Silly movie but i like it very well as a guilty pleasure.

The original Piranha on Blu-Ray, looks great and cool extras too to a movie i always liked since i was a kid. I can't wait for the remake.

Escape From Alcatraz. One of my favorite Clint Eastwood films.

Humanoids from The Deep on Blu-Ray: Very cool, sleazy and gory Creatures from The Black Lagoon inspired Sci-fi horror movie from Roger Corman.

Dinner for Schmucks. Not as good as it could have been, in spite of a great comedy cast. it never seemed to find its footing and the pacing seemed a bit slow for a comedy. It did have some funny moments, though. Not a bad movie, just not a very good one either.

I make an effort to watch classic films when I can and to me they are the best out there as in timeless entertainment. I recently watched again His Girl Friday,Patton and Blade Runner.

This summer I was so disappointed with Iron Man 2.....I liked Inception but loved Toy Story 3(made me weepy). I was surprised how much I enjoyed A-Team.

The Expendables: Awesome movie! really every action lovers dream.

Oldboy on Blu-Ray: One of my favorite movies that looks sharp on HD! See this movie, it's an awesome and original Korean/Japanese made action thriller based on a Japanese comic book about a man who was imprisoned in a special house for 15 years with food, water and TV including some newspapers dropped at his door. He is released and gets revenge on those that imprisoned him especially murdering his family. Very violent but great stuff that Tarantino approves.

Thirst (2009) on DVD: NOW this is what i call a great vampire movie! forget Twilight and see this.

The Expendables. So awesome! Just what an action movie should be! Lots of carnage, lots of explosions, big weapons, lots of muscles and testosterone, minimal plot and dialogue, and half of that was snappy comebacks! And yes, Lundgren stole the show, but I loved Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren's shared scenes!

Awesome movie man, i own that on DVD. One of the coolest horror comedies of the last decade!

    Anyway.

Short Circuit on Blu-Ray: Sold my old DVD for this and it looks sharp.
Dreamscape on Blu-Ray: After not seeing it in so long, it holds up well. A great Sci-fi horror fantasy mindbender with Dennis Quaid as it influenced Matrix, Inception and more.

How well does it hold up? This was a great movie back then. I am dying to watch it again, but I am truly worry it might not be as good as I remember.

So glad I bought the Blu-ray.

Of course, it inspired Inception to The Matrix you know.

Scott Pilgrem: Another gem from the director of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz! i've read the comic books and it's quite good.

Let The Right One In on Blu-Ray for the 5th time: Gets better every time i see it, i saw it at a local arthouse theater when it came out since i'm a vampire fan. If you need a bittersweet, sad and dark vampire drama, forget Twilight and see this. See this before the US remake "Let Me In" comes out.

    Exit Wounds by Andrzej Bartkowiak

Correct but extremely typical action movie about corrupted cops. Way better than any other Seagal movie in the last 10 years, but still not of my (few) favorites. It's entertaining and sometimes funny, but it doesn't look like a Seagal movie; the drama is not really about him and there are just a few traces of his classic ideological points.

    Loved the credits.

Zemeckis is a genius. That's all.

A Boy and His Dog by LQ Jones

Weird post-apocaliptic tale about a boy and a dog who try to survive in the wasteland, many years after a nuclear war. Entertaining, with great atmosphere, dark humor and lots of ideas.

But most of those ideas are not developed due to the short running time, and the plot and some character actions are quite random.

    If you played Fallout (1 & 2), it's a must see.

Boy and His Dog, that's a good one. Influenced Mad Max movies, Fist of the North Star and so much more post apocalyptic stuff.

Piranha 3D: Very cool remake of a great b-movie Corman Jaws rip-off.

The X-Files Movies on Blu-Ray: Both look great on High def but the first is better.

Pandorum on Blu-Ray: Excellent Aliens and The Black Hole-esque Sci-fi shocker that is overlooked, it bombed in theaters and now has a small cult following.

Pearl Harbor Director's Cut: Actually superior to the regular cut, love it. It was meant to be like that.
