    Underworld Evolution

More or less like the first, but with nearly everything worst. The story seems to be good, but it is extremely underdeveloped, everything seems too rushed. The pacing is fast again, but nearly always with no course. We loose most of the cast, and new ones aren't as good as Bill Nighy and Michael Sheen where.

The action is top notch, but Selene powers are so overwhelming that there's never a sense of risk. I cared about the character, but there's no moment to fear for her. Maybe this is the biggest problem.

The only thing which is better, is the lightning and shot composition around Kate. She looks something like the hottest woman ever. Ever.

At the end is an entertaining movie, well made and with a really strong lead (here not talking about the "I totally love her" factor, but her skills), but not much more.

It could have been better just expanding it around 20-30 minutes to develop the story and making the action a little more dramatic. Just like the first one.

Dark City Director's Cut on Blu-Ray: Bought this for 10 bucks at Wal-Mart, i always adored this movie since i was 16 seeing it in a theater when it came out.

Black Christmas (1974): Been a slasher fave of mine since i was a teenager, on Blu-Ray it's nearly the same transfer as the 2007 special edition DVD. It's still a fantastic underrated cult fave slasher movie that inspired "Halloween", "Friday The 13th" and other slasher movies. Margret Kidder, John Saxton and others star in this work of art from Bob Clark (Christmas Story and Porky's) is a must see for horror fanatics.

    Predators by Nimród Antal

Solid action-slasher that makes a worthy sequel to the original Predator. Pacing is good, action too, there is some suspense (a little) and characters are interesting enough to care for them.

The special mention goes to Adrien Brody, a man who I never expected to see as an action hero, and to Alice Braga, who makes the character I cared more about.

The Losers: Somewhat watered down movie version of a great DC/Vertigo comic book but enjoyable neverthless.

Princess Mononoke: Always been one of my faves since i was 18 back in 1999 seeing it in theaters in it's us dubbed debut, a great Japanese animated fantasy epic from Hayao Miyazaki with the voices of Billy Bob Thorton, Billy Crudup, Juliette Lewis and more. You must rent this masterpiece.

Pearl Harbor by Michael Bay (Blu-Ray)

Oh my god!! Oh my god!! Oh my god!! The video quality was freaking awesome, never seen anything like this before at home... some things where even better than cinema (contrast and sharpness). It was like seeing the movie for the first time again.

The ultimate mix between comedy and drama. Guess I have a soft spot for Cage, but this man is incredible. In every movie.

Is the Blu-Ray the uncut unwatered down version? Here in the states the US has both the PG-13 family friendly version and the R-rated adult version and the other is the better version. Do you think PH is as good as Titanic or better?

The Good The Bad and The Ugly on Blu-Ray: A timeless classic that got better in Blu-Ray, i loved this movie since high school in the late 90's.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer on Blu-Ray: It doesn't look bad on Blu but it's still a great movie. Now here is a truly great serial killer movie that ranks with Se7en and Silence of the Lambs or Michael Mann's Manhunter! a mix of horror, drama and thriller that i liked since high school as well. It was made in 1986 but didn't get theatrically released until 1990 with an X-rating for some depravity, gore, family murders and

Akira on Blu-Ray: My favorite animated movie of all time since i was 14 turning 15 in 96 done justice in high definition and i still own the 2-Disc limited Tin edition DVD. I own some Akira merchandise since 14 such as the Mangas (Japanese comics), T-shirts, a Wallscroll in one of my rooms of my house, some action figures and that sort of crap. This movie is a favorite among directors like our Michael Bay who claims it's one of his favorite animated movies, James Cameron (His fave animated movie too), The Wachowski Brothers, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Terry Gilliam, Zack Snyder, Guillermo Del Toro, Ridley Scott and many others as it's an influential and unique original animated movie that is totally not for kids. If you love animation, i recommend this masterpiece even in high def and you won't be disappointed as it's action packed, smart, gory and unique with stunning animation.

Gattaca on Blu-Ray: Excellent Sci-fi masterpiece that looks exceptional on Blu-Ray, a nice big screen work of art with Uma Thurman, Ethan Hawke and Alan Arkin. It's very much like Blade Runner and The Island only without action but brains, i enjoyed it since i was 16 renting it on video.

Avatar 3D Special Edition: Saw it a second time and this movie gets better every time i see it and i can't wait for the even more final cut coming out on Blu-Ray this november.

The uncut version wasn't released outside US. Some time I have to order it. Do Blu-Rays have zone block?

And I think is way better than Titanic. Really don't like Titanic too much, except for the sinking ship. In PH the only real problem I found is some cheesy dialogue and (in the theatrical versions) some weird editing transitions in the first hour.

A Goofy Movie: A fave of mine since i was 14 when it came out in theaters, it really spoke to us teens and appealed to kids, teens, preteens and adults. Funny and exciting, Roxanne was one hot toon babe i had fantasies about since that age.

Robocop Director's Cut on the 2-Disc 20th Anniversary DVD: The best cut of this action Sci-fi masterpiece! one of my favorite movies for a long time and i can't believe i saw this movie in a theater as a 6 year old, i also can't believe they made a saturday morning cartoon and toys out of a movie that wasn't for kids but i had the action figures as a kid.

Total Recall. Not exactly one of my favourites, but still pretty good. It has its moments.

Oh my god, i own that movie and one of my favorite animated movies of all time. I saw this movie when i lived in Omaha Nebraska at the time at age 7 two times as well as Oliver and Company two times as well (Remember that Prime's Girl?), i had some of the merchandise to both movies at 7 such as PJs to Land Before Time PVC toys from Sears to Pizza Hut Puppets. Cowboy Bebop The Movie on DVD: I saw this in the theaters because i love the awesome animated show, i watched it on DVD in it's subtitled Japanese language version. Such an awesome and unique Blade Runner-esque animated movie.

Machete: Awesome Rodriguez and Tarantino joint that is based on the awesome trailer shown in Grindhouse, loves it. If you like action see this one.

Starship Troopers on Blu-Ray: Excellent Sci-fi action movie from the maker of Total Recall and Robocop and part of his amazing trilogy! this one has gore, action, babes and more.

OMG i saw Cocoon when i was 4 years old when it came out in theaters, great movie.

Wilford Brimley was amazing as usual as he bares his famed mustache in this one. He fought aliens in The Thing without his mustache.
