I'm just finishing "Bullitt" for the night. I had to show my Mustang-loving son the classic car chase! So good, you can definately see the car chase genre in its infancy here. No music or huge effects, few quick cutaways, no funny quips. Just pure great driving. And since it takes place in San Francisco, they show Angel Island (where i live and work) during the chase! :-) But, I had also forgotten what a good caper movie it is. Certainly no "Ocean's Eleven" (the original) or the like, but a nice well made movie. Steve McQueen and Robert Vaughn were both terrific!

Saw How to Train Your Dragon. I thought it was awesome. It even had some little twists and turns I didn't really expect.
I also saw the Mist. It destroyed my soul.

Clash of the Titans (2010)
I'm about to go see Clash of the Titans in 3D. The last movie I saw in theaters was Avatar. What a great movie!
"My story is of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon."
I saw Clash of the Titans recently - I thought it was ok-good, but there was something about it that wasn't quite right - I can't put my finger on it.
Going to see Clash of the Titans 2010 this morning.. doesnt have the greatest reviews..but then again..most of the movies I like dont

"Clash of the Titans" - A horrible, horrible mess. Worst of 2010 so far.
I watched The Triplets of Belleville last night for the first time. It was oddly delightful. . . or delightfully odd. . . I can't decide which. . but I liked it.
Clash of the titans will be on Monday. Going to WonderCon in San Francisco today!

"Enemy of the State"
Smith, Hackman, Voight, Lee, all great. But in my view, Tom Sizemore stole the show. Love him.

King Kong (2005)
Yes, it's long. But I needed a good dose of "giant things beating the shit out of each other." (that being Kong vs. THREE V-rexes!) So awesome.

Clash of the Titans in 2-D.
Probably the most badass movie I've seen this year. This is what Greek mythology was meant to be, a kick-ass fest of giant monsters and mythical creatures with Sam Worthington beating the tar out of them.
