I kinda agree..2 1/2- 3 ..as long as the story line stays interesting.

Thats what bothered me about 2012.. I actually got to the point I was wishing they would all just drown or something to get the movie to end.

Yeah about 3 hours is good. As far as 2012 it did get a little redundant and predictable. I kept looking at my watch wondering when it was going to end.

2-21/2 is perfect three might be to long... dont get me wrong I would watch 238748273 hour film of Bays work but the transformer stuff might make more sense to be broken into two 1 1/2 hour films...

I selected 4 hours, but would have chosen 73 hours if it were an option.

3 Hours would be plenty. Adding too much time would disperse the cgi in the movie (ie, the transformers).

In all seriousness, I say make Transformers 3 a 100 minute silent film (as in no dialogue).

Bad robots come to Earth to wreak havoc. Good robots fight to protect the humans. BAY goes BOOM for about 90 minutes straight and the end credits roll.

This would be a superior Michael Bay Transformers movie. There's no point plugging humans into a story if you're not going to give them a motivation for existing.

As long as it needs to be to tell a story that actually makes sense.
