Some people can be so selfish?!
Early yesterday I had this question asked of me by someone I barely know making an accusation (as they had found out about my money and what I'd done with it), they'd accused me of being extremely selfish, all on account of the fact I'd not given them any cash.
I'm well known for being generous to people, but not just with money, and this was also before I got lucky with that lotto win.
At some stage I had let the money pile up and I gave away $10,000 to about 25 worthy people around town and this person had a nerve to chide me coz they didn't get anything, namely coz this person is a gambler and didn't need any cash anyhow, I didn't see them as worthy or needful of the monetary help.
I was just irate about it coz I've given away about $300,000 (to people and charities) so far and only spent about 20% or so of just that on myself. I dropped my ideas about real estate as that would only bring in more money I don't really need and so the cash is now going into investment (possibly retirement money for when I'm older) as well as half of it going to my partner when it finally gets up to that amount, being that I'm getting installments over a 10 year period, most of it lately has been piling up coz I don't have anything to spend it on or I'm just not ready to spend it yet, so I've had no choice but to put it into investment. I just don't feel like carrying around that much cash on my bank cards and credit cards.
This person is one reason why I don't want to tell my family and co-workers about it. It's just amazing how greedy people can be when they know you have money.

Damn BG.. Its bad enough that when I get a text message my phone makes the transforming noises.. and when it rings ( well that never happens since no one ever calls me) it plays Stan Bush's The Touch.. But now I am getting more crazy ideas for what it should do.

Well, Silent Hill Shattered Memories (PSP version) 'shattered' my expectations. I was looking forward to the game, but it blew even my excitement away. Really awesome game. Shame, though, that from what I've seen, the PSP version is in some respects better then the PS2 one, but then I've read they made the same mistake with it that they did with Origins: porting the PSP version to PS2 instead of making each for the console it's on. It amazes me that the best Silent Hill game in years is not selling well (at least on Wii...we'll see if PSP and PS2 can help do this game some sales justice). And at least SH is a LOT closer to it's roots then RE is now a days >_>
