Why do some young people think that they can school me on the b-ball court. My self and a few other old heads (35-41) played against some kids (18-22) today, and we hurt their feelings...BAD!!! But before we began to hoop it was like,"were going to school these old guys" or "how are you going to handle our speed". Game one: we beat them 15-12. Game two: 15-9. Game three: 7-0. Game 4: 15-6. Granted we were a little short of breath at times, and we didn't have the legs they did, but we hurt them. That's why I love BG's sig "age and treachery beats youth and skill every time" (I used that quote on the court BG). So young people one word to you, just because someone is 18 years older than you, doesn't mean we can't beat you. We just have to find different ways to win. By the way, these young men were not bad players by any means. One was a star in HS, and another is supposedly a legend on the streets.

Right On Tee!!.. I we used to use BGs sig all the time at the MX track.. to watch the Veteran class was the most enjoyable thing..the old guys were wicked fast... We used to call the 125 C class the suicide class..just cause thats where all the young punks who thought they were goign to be the next Ricky Carmicheal were. I worked first turn and would spend more time pulling bikes off of idiots then anything else. Out on the trails.. us old farts would just knock the younger ones off thier bikes..hehehehe Seems I am always one of the older people doing something..because of my "you only live once" and " It only hurts for a little while and scars are cool..and the storys later are priceless"..along with being an adrenaline junkie..not a good mix. Plus being female and loving motor sports..well seems you have more to prove.. would have to play dirty at times...such the dirty girl is me..hehehe.
