Is it any possible way to get these weather people here in Charlotte to stop falsely predicting snow. This past weekend Statesville NC got 8 inches, 8 INCHES, that's a lot of snow anywhere east of the App mtns. The sad thing is Statesville is 30 miles north of Charlotte and we got 0 inches.

No, Tee. Weather forcasters are pathological liars! It is a job requirement! In fact, in the Air Force, they kiddingly refer to the meteorilogical Division as the Liars' Squadron!!

He has been living out there for about 2 years now.. working on restoring custom hot rods.. One of the few people I dearly miss as he was my car buddy here. People thought we were truely relates by the way we would fight one day..then be out the next doing something. He is who I am buying the Isuzu Amigo from.

The storm has let up for now, but round 2 is coming. If it gets bad, I might not be going to Christmas Eve mass.

My son would love him! (The older one) He is working on an automotive degree/certificate and wants to work on customs and high performance. He would also be, no doubt, one of your tadpoles!

I was just floored!!!!! Sortta a long story..but in the spring.. a car broke down in front of my house.I went down to check out the situation...because it was a Subaru... we pushed it into my driveway and I assessed the problem.. The owner was upset cause it was his 16 y/o sons first car and didnt want something like this happening to him. Turned out it was just a bad Alt.. no biggy..told him I would pick up the part and fix it for him in the morning ( they knew nothing about cars) and he could pick it up that afternoon.. I also said I would go over the car and make sure it was ok for his son. Well.. it needed some work.. new timing belt, tentioners ,drive belts ,waterpump, knock sensor, basic stuff. When he came to pick the car up I gave him the verdict and told him I could easily do all this in about 4 hours on a Sat. He asked how much and I said $100 and he gets the parts cause its an easy job. He agreed then asked how much I wanted for the Alt repair..which I said "whatever you feel its worth...it took me 10 minutes to fix" He tried to give me $80..I handed him back $60 and said that was enough. So a few weeks later he drops the car back off and I do the timing belt job...Took 3 hours. Picked it up all cool.. but I noticed the car had a slight case of rod knock and brought that to thier attention. I never heard from them again... until a few moments ago.. The kid stopped to give me a Christmas card and a small gift!!!! He said its been running perfect and he runs it 100+ miles a day without any issues. He thanked me repeatedly and said that he was so glad that it broke down where it did cause everyone in this piss town knows where the Subaru mech is.
That just made my day.. had to share.

    I'm horrible.

A package just arrived and my parents wouldn't let me come downstairs to see it. So what do I do? Get on their accounts for several websites. I didn't find anything, but I still did it. To be fair, they make their passwords way too easy.

So, for the last several weeks, I have had the lyrics for a VERY bawdy 16th century English folksong running through my head. Just the chorus. Can't remember all the verses. I don't know why this is.

I love my brain. It has such adventures!!!

Jazzy that is awesome. I know some swindlers and hustlers here in Charlotte that would take total advantage of their problems. We need more people in the world like you. That is the truth.

Don't you just hate that. Especially when you are singing something and then you just stop because you forgot the rest of the song. That's why I couldn't be a professional singer........well, actually it's because I can't sing .
