is one horror movie that lives up to the hype. You must see it immediately.

I'll give it a rent when it comes out on DVD / Blu-ray. Not my cup of tea really.
Really glad to see a $15,000 movie has made around $35 million in the US alone, that is one hell of an achievement.
Heheh, I hear that a lot of people left the screening of the movie, not because the movie sucked, but because it's so damn scary.
I won't be seeing it any time soon. It's bad enough that a 20 second screamer video can leave me traumatized for 24 hours. *shutters*

"The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never know if they're genuine." - Abraham Lincoln
It made me very uncomfortable.
I think it'll actually be even more creepy if you watch it in your own home.
Bullshit, effing bullshit. That was scarier than HELL. And it's real footage too. I can't believe that. Fricken' insane.
Trailbreaker, if you seen this you would have died.
Mean, Green Sexy DEATH Machine! ♥
I thought this was the best horror movie of 2009 besides Last House on The Left 2009, Martyrs, Zombieland and Friday The 13th. Better then Blair Witch Project IMO!
Well SAW happens to be this generation's Elm Street or Friday The 13th in terms of big screen horror franchises, agree or disagree on comparing the Saw series to Elm Street or Friday The 13th series? what about the original "SAW"? that one is a modern horror classic.
that movie scared me soo badly! i couldn't sleep for......well since i went to see it
"My story is of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon."

Sam Witwicky: He peed on you? Bad Mojo! Bad!
Ironhide: Bad Mojo! Ugh, my foot's gonna rust...
I've heard about this movie. Sounds very scary. That means I have to see it!
This movie each week gains in popularity:

Cirque du Freak is in 7th position this Friday.Little-horror-movie-that-could Paranormal Activity continues to defy all box office rules, leaping to the number one spot at the box office on Friday with an estimated $7.6 million — in its fifth weekend in theaters.
1. Paranormal Activity – $7.6 million
2. Saw VI — $7 million
3. Where the Wild Things Are — $4.4 million
4. Law Abiding Citizen — $4.1 million
5. Couples Retreat — $3.7 million
I will most likely check it out when it finally comes across shores.
This is what I hate about Hollywood: http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/15495
What possibly could the sequel do to be drastically different? Nothing.Paramount Pictures is "actively considering" making a sequel to "Paranormal Activity," the low-budget supernatural horror flick that has become the sleeper hit of the season reports The Los Angeles Times.

Exactly, same with the Donnie Darko sequel, a perfect film tarnished by a Z grade sequel. :P
Something fairly original comes along (Paranormal Activity) and Hollywood pounces when it does well at the box office and decides to imitate it over and over, it happens with all the movies these days unfortunately.
I can honestly see this becoming a franchise released yearly like the ghastly Saw series.. low budget, in it for earning an extra buck.
