Mike: Aren't you worried that 2011 is already kind of crowded? I mean, you got Spiderman 4, Thor, Green Lantern, Captain America, the new Harry Potter, Battleship. And then, there is the kids' Kung Fu Panda 2, Cars 2, Smurfs. Even Hangover 2 is a rival. I dont know, man, looks like a tough summer. I would wait until 2012 (only the Avengers so far).

All those comic book movies would really cut into your business.

Boy did I have a smile on my face when I saw the new TF3 section on the main forum page.

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

I agree with you although I don't think Smurfs, Battle Ship, or Hangover 2 will be hits, just because the first Hangover movie was a hit, what makes you think the second one will be a hit, look at night at the museum 2 it didn't make as much as the first one and angles and demons.

I think that if TF3 is good at all, it'll have no trouble vs. Spiderman 4, Thor, even HP etc. Look at the people that went to see ROTF 25 times. Maybe they'll see it 23 and see Spiderman and Thor once each. Who is to say the list for 2012 won't be twice what 2011 has on it's plate atm?

I think TF3 will be just fine if what went wrong in TF2 isn't repeated, and if it's got a good cast, story, entertaining characters... *nods*

2.- They could be back, which is a good thing since they're my favorite writers, I hope that they come back.
