Signed! Hope we won't wait long![]()
I'll sign, but I think alot of the score in ROTF was recycled from part one.
I liked the reed-like sound which can be heard when Rainn Wilson said "I won't be punked in front of the dean", but it wasn't in the song "Einstein's wrong".
Also the music played before the C-17 got a fake engine trouble (to kick Mr.Galloway out) was my fave too. I hope those will be contained in the expanded score.
I had signed that petition long before all of you
I had seen the link on ROTF movie's fan page on facebook. That page has 1,082,042 fans and they comment on the movie daily
I think it's wonderful to see so many people being so passionate about a movie and its soundtrack.
I just love the soundtrack from the first movie! I hear it over and over and never get tired. It feeds my soul everyday. I think it's definitely Mr. Jablonsky's masterpiece. As for the soundtrack of ROTF I was quite disappointed, because it cost me 18 euros and it doesn't even last for an hour! What happened?
And since you're all signing the petition for the extended version of the ROTF soundtrack please help me and some other fans that didn't manage to buy the first soundtrack for a fair price (now it cost something like 50 or 60 dollars at amazon.com):

@ Optimina: I posted the link to the Expanded Score Petition multiple times on that facebook page. And I just signed that petition. I hope that petition works too!
490..... its going slower now.. darn!
We need more signatures!! I'm trying to put it everywhere but no result!
I know! I've posted it on a few sites now and so have a few others but it still is not moving fast enough!
Maybe you should post the link on Yahoo! and IMDb, but IMDb in particular is not exactly "Transformers-friendly" and judging by the ratings there most of the members hate the Transformers movies.
But you can give it a shot.
@ Bayhem: I will try IMDb, thanks!
We need more! C'mon guys & girls. The Recording Session was over 110 Min. btw.

@ Bayhem: I know what you mean...
Listen to the background music on this: http://www.transformersmovie.com/protect/
Did anybody recall hearing this in the movie? It'd definitely Jablonsky alright.

You can read here: http://www.scoringsessions.com/news/191/
"...With over 110-minutes of score, and a tight post-production schedule, there was a lot to get done during the scoring sessions. Scoring engineer and mixer Alan Meyerson was only at a few of the recording sessions, and was typically situated back at Remote Control Studios in Santa Monica working hard on the final score mix, and engineer Jeff Biggers handled a lot of the score recording duties at the Sony scoring stage..."

Have faith.
It worked for the first movie - http://theknightshift.blogspot.com/2...ers-score.html
Of course it's different now, but I'm still hopeful.
I agree. Have faith. We just need more signatures..I am trying my best to find more sites to post the petition on. All of you should post them wherever too -- tell your friends even!
I'm not sure if this person will sign the petition - http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/transformers09.html
He really hates the movie and the score. Personally, I think he's taking this whole thing way too seriously - after all, it's just a movie.
What do you think?
