Default Michael Bay's "Planet of the Apes"

Yes, Michael was attached to this project at one point before it landed in Tim Burton's hands.

I can't help but wonder how it might have turned out under MB's direction...

Probably would've been a better movie. Most likely would'nt have had a twist ending (or at least one not as retarded as the Burton film), and just be a straight up sci-fi adventure film.

I don't know, it's tough for me to imagine "Planet of the Apes" directed by Bay.

But if they make another one, they should definitely hire Guillermo del Torro. I think he'll do a good job with this material.

    Nah, Peter Jackson!

I think Mike would do a killer Planet of the Apes, it would have been much more better, darker, humorus, and actionpacked. It would also have better actors.
You tell her we're not her pets, and we're not her toys! We're an advance, genius alien race just looking for a home!

    haha.

    I get the ending!!

its just better grass on the other side.

typical to imagine something from that one, and make something wicked and scary from it. Like the world today is also just about surviving monkeys.

    Burton is a genius
