I've noticed some people saying that they did not notice a difference between the imax and regular version so I decided to clear it up. First, I live in Washington, DC so I was able to see the movie where it was filmed, I was shocked when I walked into the massive room to see the screen was square, I mean I knew it was a different ratio but it was really SQUARE so most of the movie had the black space at the top and the bottom that you would see watching a movie on a full screen tube tv but never at the movies, so when THE scenes started, the picture filled the whole screen, the very square screen (it was awesome) now this is where it gets interesting, so one of the things I noticed in the extra few seconds of the forest fight was an aerial shot of optimus swinging his blades around toward... I think it was magatron and starscream with Grindor behind him and they were in the corners of the screen, the full very square screen. Now back to the shock, I was shocked at the screen because the only other Imax I had been to did not have this square screen it was more like a regular theater screen just bigger with louder speakers. So the point is, either they show the movie on a larger widescreen and call it Imax or the editors somehow did some stuff to make it fit on a widescreen while keeping the extra scenes or... to be continued
