Certain things were done better in the first game, while others are better in this one. The first game at least had destructible environments, and had cutscenes to advance the story.. The way you transform sucks in ROTF (you have to HOLD DOWN the button to stay in vehicle mode), and there really isn't a story or cutscenes.
