thats how they were chosen originally before the story ever began. They had a heap load of transforming toys and they split them: civilian = autobots, militairy = decepticons.i liked the first concept

It might also depict the wish of the autobots for stealth (its easier to hide in a parking lot if your not a Tank) and closer human contact and the decepticons's wish for greater advantage in battle.

If they have Shockwave, that'll show that Cybertron still exists. I've always gotten the impression that it's completely gone.

i see him working under group. hes suppost to have invented triple changers. maybe some wicked experiment gone bad could be used in TF3. Like sunstorm (if he can keep his mouth shut long enough, that is). I dont see him doing much battleing but remember he did defeat Megatron once.

That's only if they don't stick to Shockwave's storyline. Shockwave never left Cybertron. He was the leader of the Decepticons that remained in Cybertron. So the question is will they break the storyline and bring him to Earth or keep him in his leadership position in Cybertron. Either way I love Shockwave and I really hope he makes his appearance in TF3. Actually I love the Marvel comic book version of him more than the cartoon because he was more powerful than Megatron and not as subordinate as he was in the cartoon. He was one of the only Decepticons that didn't take any crap from Megs. If Megs got out of line Shockwave put that fool in his place.

Megatron and Atarscream are headed back to cybertron, thus Megatron will again rule the decepticons. And what for Shockwave? he heads to earth to work on some experiments to produce Energon. And here is my Concpt art... I AM NOT TRYING TO GIVE MICHEAL BAY ANY IDEAS... However if he uses it I gonna but so many toys.(This was also made for my broth... Shockwave is his favorite.
