"Buster" Optimus Prime

This is NOT a custom! It's actually going to be released by Takara!



Possibly the greatest movie Optimus Prime action figure ever made, he even has a mouth. Though, the silver paint around his eyes makes it look like he's wearing sunglasses or something, lol. I doubt Hasbro will make their own for the US.

Freakin sweet.

I love how the feet match perfectly to how they were in the movie. My OP's feet are just the grill off of the front end.

The detail is excellent.

No idea. According to TF wiki it's not even for sale yet. I bet you could probably find it at one of those obscure websites that sells toys from Japan.

You could probably touch up the eyes with another paint if the sunglass effect annoys you

release date will be around nov. although i dig the big ass gun. i'd say its a big pass for me. already have rotf leader prime. so no point in having another one. I'll just get GOW 2 add-on instead.

I'm not sure yet, he looks great though. I'll decide after having a look at it in a store (because I must save up money now).

EDIT: It'll hit the shelves in Japan on 21th Nov. I have a hunch that importers and eBayers will sell it internationally soon.

That is an Awesome figure. I would guess the scale is about the same as the figure released by hasbro but this one definetly looks to have a lot more detail.

if this figure gets a us release ill get him but if its only japan edition ill pass this would probably & maybe be the ony figure in the second movie that i will get double of repaints are exceptions

It's the same exact scale and transformation. The lavish paint applications as well as the minor retools in the head as well as his gas tanks (which transform into a gun) are the only difference.
