Little things I've noticed.

Three small things I've noticed.

1. The logo on bumblebee seems to be blacked out? I heard a story of GM not spending much money on the film, would this be why?

2. When all the decepticons come down, there is a shot of them all walking, with a truck in the middle. It looks very much like bone crusher, but he was killed, right?

3. Half way through the end battle, where does Scorponok come from?

Yes they did not spend to much money..but the bowtie as it is for the Z28 Bumblebee was not blacked out it was just red outlined.
Its there just looks a lot better than that gold one used in the first movie.

It cleans up the front end. Makes it look more bad ass. and many cars past and present used that same style of emblem. my 94 Z had the same in the lower grill.

Scorponok comes out of nowhere with no explanation. He's just been lying around chilling the whole time.

That one bot looks like Bonecrusher but it's not him. It's just another bot that looks the same. They got lazy in this one.

One of the reasons this movie is too much like G1. Generics are a defining aspect of the show, and randomly appear on and off.

I just want to know why he was suddenly put back in, cheap way of killing Jetfire?

Yeah it definately was a cheap way of killing Jetfire I reckon, maybe should have left Scorponok out and possibly had another minion of Soundwaves instead? and it could have played out like the Decepticons find out about Jetfires defection and they try to eliminate him among their other goals? then have Soundwave send out a minion to do the bidding?

Who's to say it was a copy of Bonecrusher, a Deciepticon or even another robot? It could of been just a random military vehicle caught up in the middle of the battle.

As far as GM selling a few more cars..one reason why GM was not a huge a marketing machine as it was in the first movie..Most of GM's stuff is concept or a year or two off in TF2..the Camaro being the only thing you can actually buy now at any Chevy dealer..the Topkick good luck..and the Solstice is gone as of this next month if your still thinking TF1...
Funny thing is the traffic generated by TF2 DID bring more people to GM sites..Mostly Camaro sites..and the added TF edition is a plus..and on top of that the Camaro outsold the Mustang for the first time since 1993..thats saying something..

not only did the movie help..as we all know it did..but it made it one of GM and the auto industries top seller for this quarter....and should do very well considering the climate of the auto industry were in..

Don't you think that in 2 years, an alien robot with the ability/resources to travel beyond our solar system, can make its way from Qatar to Egypt?

I do agree that Jetfire was killed cheaply as well as Scorponok too.

I do think this was ment to be Bonecrusher and if not then the writers did get cheap on this and not do their homework as in any true military situation as with what happend, there would not be a random Buffalo mind sweeper vehicle driving around in an all out firefight like that. And it was clearly not with the humans.

i noticed the Autobot emblem on the parachutes which Optimus gets dropped from carrier ship in his very first scene of the movie

Ironhid drops his canons' when he's running toward the camera in Egypt when the F22's bomb the lil' village

after 3 viewings, i realized that ''Robo-Warrior'' is actually Simmons :lol

there is actually some robot blood in the forest scene. Notibaly when the first IMAX shot apears and its a side shot of Optimus and Megatron, and Megatron punches OP in the face, something red (blood?) gets sprayed into the air a lil, then OP turns arround only to get tackled to the ground by Megz.

I don't know if I should post this on this thread. If it's not, then I am sorry. I just want you to know that I also noticed that no decepticon's theme was played as a background soundtrack in the entire scenes. As for the autobots, at least it was played twice (forest battle and optimus's combining with jetfire's part).

This is OT, but ... I went looking for pics of the Solstice my neighbour had, and almost didn't find them because I thought the car was silver because of TF... unlike the blue colour hers is that I'd seen for years.

Really? Good. I was also wondering because around here I've seen a million Dodge Chargers (must've had a sale), a ton of Mustangs, but only one new Camero so far. A few older ones, but only the black new one... so far.

Yeah, I noticed that. The 'spiky' floor gave it away; otherwise, it could've been just any hangar.
