NASCAR in TF3

With all these deal with GM Motors, they could actually make a transforming NASCAR robot in TF3, seeing how deeply involved in NASCAR racing GM Motors is.

Maybe they could make some sort of deal with a NASCAR team or the like. I could think of many "racing" type Transformers in the cartoons, so I think they could do well in live action rendition.

Just an idea.

Well, it could work, but I don't see how you could have a NASCAR stock car driving around on normal roads without having the police on your ass. The whole point of being a "robot in disguise" is to not get caught!

yeah it's illegal to drive certain racing cars on public roads.

I didn't mean it would have to run out onto public roads.

It could be a robot hiding (say Decepticon) from the Autobots and thus takes on the form of a NASCAR and only runs in a racing track where there is very little chance of getting noticed.
And when it is time to wreck havoc, boom it transforms into a robot! Or something like that...

They could play with a lot of factors to actually make such idea work. It could be an Autobot or a Decepticon.

Also, I don't see any problem with all this "robot in disguise" thing. Even if it had to ran onto public roads at some point in the movie, let's just say it's for actions sake. Hell Starscream has tattoos all over his body and yet he flies in the sky without caring about this "robot in disguise" factor.

Just a thought.

I love that Idea, also include an Australian V8 Supercar that could be Autobot "Outback", who could be looking for the Decepticon NASCAR.
The Best explination could be the V8 Supercar is on cars of the world display at a NASCAR Road Course Event, maybe Sonoma or Watkins Glen, on the infield, and hey presto, you have an awesome fight sequence.
After Outback wins the fight, he scans a roadcar version of his race car mode (conveniatly parked beside his display spot), and goes back into hiding, until the big fight at the end.

So like brawl he would totally not be having cops after him in tank mode right?? and F22 just flying around in uncleared airspace etc.. so i think a nascar would be fine :P maybe for a decepticon since they dont care about hiding that much.

Well if that's the case then could somebody explain why nobody was after him when he was driving down the highway?

I guess Brawl in Tank Mode chasing the Autobots in TF1 could be explained that Barricade, the Ford Mustang Police car was leading him, so some cops on the side of the road would have assumed a police cruiser was aprihending the 'offender'.

So using Barricade to follow or 'cover' other Decepticons who are doing some illegal like driving on a road in a inapproiate vehicle, works as police will assume that someone is on the 'joy riders' case.
For Example, my idea of the Decepticon GM NASCAR vs. Outback, the Aussie V8 Supercar, a chase that starts on the track and spills out onto a Highway, would logically work if Barricade is following them in car mode, thus keeping police out of the pursuit.

Yeah and when the opening day to TF3 closes in, they could put the Autobot/Decepticon insignia on the NASCARs in one of the real NASCAR racing events as a marketing thing.

If NASCAR gets in. Then I believe that Trails' Oscar Meyer Weinermobile gets a shot as well.

Not to push to cause any further, but I would still like to see that thing transformed.

For street legal, it needs to be a certain width. (Oh god)

Turn signals. Headlights. Brake lights. Capable of speeds of atleast 45 mph i think. lol

i hate nascar.......why becuase its not the same as the nascar i grew up watching. the only time i watch nascar, is when they hit the road course. v8 supercars rule nascar any day.

Just a side note, Kyle Busch has run one-off Transformers livery's for TF1 in 2007 & TF2 at the Sonoma Road Course in 2009, although he choked , compared to the Road Course King Marcos Ambrose.

Love the Idea of Blurr, but instead of being being the V8 Supercar (leave that to Outback), he could be another race car at the "Cars of the World" display, perhaps Blurr can be a Chevy Corvette GT3 or GT1 Sportscar and be 'backup' to Outback while he battles the Decepticon NASCAR.
Blurr can 'take out' Barricade, when the battle hits the Road and drives back to the "Cars of the World" display to scan the ordinary Corvette Z07 (any colour but Yellow - too Bumblebee) and drive away.

Here Are my Car Modes for the characters in my 'NASCAR vs. V8's' TF3 Battle at Watkins Glen.

Firstly welcome from the Decepticons...'Dead End', the NASCAR

And Now the Autobot with Attitude...'Outback', the Thunder from Down Under

And Lastly, Fast like a butterfly, stings like a bee, from the Autobots, 'Blurr', the Magnicent GT Sportscar (take your pick - Corvette Z07 or Mosler MT900R).
