I would go far to even say he had a Gandalf-like persona to him, which is what keeps me loving and going back to TF1. Now in TF2, to me, he just seems like a bred warrior ready to go in, guns blazing, which is awesome and all, cause we all know what a bad ass Prime already is. I guess what Im saying he was a little too badass in ROTF. I just hope in the next installment they incorporate some of the traits from the first film. But theres nothing wrong watching him rip Grindor's face off

    Lepercolony....................

i like how they explained that optimus was from a more superior power and i like how michael bay incorporated megatron into once being apart of that special family. And how it was the fallen that caused it all, it had like a darth vader type moment how he was betrayed into becoming darth vader, when jetfire explains the fallen it sorta felt like obi wan telling luke that his father was seduced by the darkside.

sounds like MEGATRON suffered the same fate from the fallen...

and thats not all, prime kills the fallen, but they never went back to megatron and starscream. TRANSFORMERS 2 at the end was hard to follow alitttle.

michael bay did the best he could but it could of been explained more.

but yeah i agree primes voice was more explosive in the first film. they messed up megatron also. But they got the other robot voices correct, starscream sounded good.

Lepercolony...... i would of liked to see more of ironhide, ratchet and bumble bee, i also wanted michael bay to tell us where the other autobots were hiding. he should of started the movie off showing us prime geeting all the autobots out of hiding...

but michael bay did his best.. i did like jetfire he was awesome, and wheelie was funny also... :lol

definitely agree these bots need more screen time, especially bumblebee. I thought he kicked ass as much as Prime did.

yeah im a old transformers fan, and i remember when bumble bee was the smallest and was always getting beat up and being taken by the decepticons.

see the reason i was so disappointed with TF 1 AND TF 2.. is that i thought michael bay would use the early 80's version of transformers, not the new version.

people here seem to think i hate these movies, i think theres alot of good parts.. i love what the did with JETFIRE.. im watching TF2 on the dvd right by the way. i have watched it already about 20 times.. can't wait for GI JOE.

i think they did a good job with wheelie, i think the college roomate needs to go, and i don't like how they incorporate the parents into the end of TF2

    :lol

I certainly dont like to see repetition, the 1985 movie has done a homage to that era and thats that though you can clearly see things like the "matrix of leadership',"sun harvester" coming from the G1 era, Transformers isnt just about the 80ies,it spans across 25 years worth of stuff that includes, comic books, series, toylines, novels and other stuff. There is so many alterations and different universes that has been created by those transformers licensees especially Marvel,IDW,DW and others, how do you encompasses all that material into this franchise? thats why the writers have to create a new alternate universe that pays homage to all the great works throughout the 25 years of the TF existence, its better to do this then to draw criticsms from people who follow just one version of TF like those who follow G1 only or Armada only or the Marvel US or UK version only.
Optimus Prime: Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing.
