Actually, yes it was. There was a few added scenes, though minor, they were there. IMAX is 70mm, so I don't understand what the heck your trying to say?
Also when watching on a standard widescreen TV (16x9), the IMAX scenes expand to cover the full screen. Which really does show off the beauty of Blu-Ray.
So its either there, or it isn't.
Nelson, Sora, anyone? Does it include the Imax sequences or no?
I spoke to Mike regarding the Imax scenes, and he indicated that the Walmart SKUs of Revenge of The Fallen might have the Imax scenes. As to which media (DVDs or Bluray) has the Imax scenes, that's something I have to ask Paramount.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the info, Nelson.
Hey Nelson can you find out if the Blu-ray will be a direct transfer of the IMAX DMR Digital Intermediate or will the 2K 35mm scenes be spliced with the IMAX footage?
You can't spell film without ILM - Industrial Light and Magic
Thats shocking, even Bay doesn't know?
Craziness. I'm gonna be purchasing it form Walmart at midnight anyways, but I'll tell ya, I'm gonna be upset if IMAX scenes don't fill up the screen. Thats something I was really looking forward to as it really does showcase Blu-Ray.
That video says "data removed" for me...
"to punish and enslave"
... it worked! That's just weird! LOL!
"to punish and enslave"
thats weird... the video pops up but i have no image..only audio...
Sometimes directors etc. don't have as much control as you'd think when it comes to the DVDs. Sometimes it's the distributor who has control of the DVD cover art- ever notice how the art can have nothing to do with the film? That's why.
So they'll take what materials they have and put it together, but Bay probably won't have 100% say in it. I was surprised to learn about that part of movie distribution.
"to punish and enslave"
So wait...
