What are your favorite scenes?

I'm gonna have to go with the forest battle as well.

I also liked the scene when Optimus Prime came back to life - for me, it seemed to bring a sense of 'we're gonna be okay - we have Optimus back', and that the tide would turn soon in the Autobots'/humans' favour, even though the story would take a turn for the worse seconds later with the Fallen's teleport.

Optimus dropping out of the plane, parachuting and then transforming to Truck, blown away at that scene.

That was pretty cool, too. I really like how that scene was scored, with its use of Arrival to Earth.

The part where Sam inserts the Matrix of Leadership into Optimus' chest, when Optimus opened his eyes as they shook and alone his grunts as he got up put the biggest grin on my face in a very long time, and then when Optimus said "Boy, you returned for me." - that sent chills down my spine.

Optimus really is indeed awesome.

My fav scene in the movie hands down goes to sideswipes baddass slice through sideways. Bay please if you read this more sideswipe he has so much potential.

When OP comes in through the roof of the factory/foundry and cleans house of Starscream and Megatron. Especially the hollow point from hell. That made the movie for me just like OP transforming in Mission City made it for me in Trans1.

My favorite scene was the Forest Battle scene.. HANDS DOWN!!

When Megatron said "Their is another source of Energon on this planet, is a boys life worth more to you than that??"

And Prime says "You won't even stop at that,

OUT COMES HIS SECOND SWORD

"I WILL TAKE YOU ALL ON!!"

And proceeds to rip off Grindor's face, rip off Starscreams arm and beat the crap out of him with it, and gives Megs a hella of a fight but succumbs to him. The best and most emotional fight scene I have ever scene. Makes me cry everytime I see it.

What? I watched the movie three times and each time I saw Ironhide transform on screen. Eyes glued to Ironhide in every (few) scenes he's in.

Are we talking about the same scene? The one near the begining with Lennox and the rest of the nest team about to attack Demolisher?
Ironhide transforming in the darkness--seeing all the sparks and steam rising up was cool.

Forest battle

Sam's Death (the ghosts of the Primes) and the matrix reforming.

Yeah Sonya I guess we are talking about different parts because I don't remember seeing him transform at all in that part. All I remember is hearing the transformation while seeing the soldier talk to someone.

As I do recall, it was a big long rotational shot around Ironhide showing all of the parts and nuts and bolts moving around and shifting into place. His head finally comes together and he says "He's here, I smell him."

I especially loved when Bumblebee is fighting mixmaster and they play the Autobot's theme from first film. Same theme from the part in first film where Optimus comes out from the alley way in the city and there is a 'in your face' transformation of him with that same Autobot's theme song.

And, when Optimus kills The Fallen, walking towards the camera and he drops Jetfire's wings and is just standing there.

- The Blackout attack (TF1 main opening scene)
- Autobots landing on Earth and Sam&Mikaela hand in hand watching them while following with Bumblebee (TF1)
- Optimus Prime to the rescue of Sam&Mikaela captured by Sector7 (TF1)
- Optimus Prime escaping Sector7 with Sam&Mikaela and the two with Bumblebee getting captured (TF1)
- The whole long Mission city final battle since the Optimus fighting Decepticons on the highway (TF1)
- Mikaela waiting for Sam on the webcam and talking to her dog while Sam being "inspected" by Alice the Pretender (TF2:ROTF)
- The whole Forest Battle scene and Optimus death (TF2:ROTF)
- Desert battle: Mikaela crying over Sam killed by Megatron and then Sam brought back to life by the Primes uses the regenerated Matrix to bring back Optimus too (TF2:ROTF)

dislike: jazz and sideswipe, which kept jumping and dancing while they should be shooting

liked (tf2): DEVASTATOR. and in general, the last fight in the desert, except for robot heaven and the 'rail gun' thing (mainly the dialog), too much cliché. very cool to see transformers in each side blowing each other through the whole sequence

(before bumblebee lost his legs), also, when megatron pulls a gun and blows optimus through a building, and the people in the building just see how that huge thing is coming through the window... and (tf2) the transformation of the big crane that trashed the town in China (after 'heatwave'), and crashes two helicopters when waking up.. (before optimus parachuting, which screwed up that sequence)
