As long as GM stays a major sponsor (and I don't see why not) I really hope MB decides to create a Pontiac G8/Holden VE Transformer (not phased if Autobot or Decepticon). I think it would make a good Wheeljack or Prowl.

What's so special about that car? To me it just looks like your regular mid sized sedan. Mind telling me why you think it's a good choice.

I dunno, this car just looks different. It's a Pontiac and it's a wicked style.

There is nothing visually appealing about this car that merits its insertion to a big Hollywood blockbuster.
And and Holden VE isn't a car that can be marketed here in the US. They might as well just include an Opel/Vauxhall.

Since this Holden VE architecture is used on nearly every continent it would appeal to a wider audience. Better advertising for GM (plus it's just an awesome car)

I think it would be a good choice for a transformer. Not all have to be super kickass cars or whatever.
What a crazy thing to say. Yes, they do have to be super kickass cars. If you're going to watch it on the big screen for two hours, and buy the toy, and wish you had one in real life, it had better be super kickass. And if isn't, then its a waste to stare at, a waste to play with, and a waste to dream about.
Cars are objects of obsession, and nothing less. Thus, they must kick ass.
Oh I guess I better throw out my G1 Ironhide cause he's just a boring Tarago-type mini-van. And G1 Bumblebee, pfft who would want a VW beetle toy. And while were at it, why would we ever watch the original cartoon with those all so non-kickass cars.
I don't know about you but I can't afford a Ferrari or Bugatti, so think the idea of "hey, I can actually own and drive the Transformer car on screen" would be pretty kickass.
At least the Camero and G8 will be affordable cars, compared to the above Zonda, Lambo and Aston. I bet when they're out you will see heaps of yellow Cameros with black strips and bee-otch hanging on the mirror.

I don't like this car enogh to be a transformer, but I do like this 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Avelate I just saw in a calander my sister-in-law just gave me this car should be in one of the movies. It's to bad I don't have a pictuer to show. You guys are just going to have to look it up on the net. You could go to WWW.COMDACALENDARS.COM and click on the exotic cars calendar you'll see it. It's black. from all the websites I've seen this car only looks good in black.

but alot of teens drive mom and dads g8.why not include a tuner version.that after all is somewhat the craze with teens too.not just the 1/4 mile.have BAY artisticaly decorate the car and give him a teen voice.....teen attitude.some will relate....some will probably have a car like that.
What is this obsession with obtainable cars? Is this all about the lowest common denominator? So should Bay do a poll of the fans, find out what the crappiest cars are being driven and only use those in his movie so you can relate to it? Should he poll the fans on their girlfriends and then make sure to use the most average and obtainable actress for the love interest? Are you really that intimidated by excellence and exoticism?
I've got an idea for the most bad ass Transfomer ever. In keeping with the crappy G8.
