Why are the TF all suicidal?

Obviously there is a big difference. So what makes you conclude that the Primes, Optimus, and Jetfire were committing suicide and not sacrficing themselves for the good of others?

Committing suicide is giving up.

Jetfire was wounded pretty bad. Aging badly, he also stated that he never thought he would see anything worth giving up his life for. Or something like that.

Prime didn't sacrifice himself. He fought to the death. "Ill take you all on"

In part 1, prime stated that Sam should merge the cube with the spark in his chest only if he couldn't defeat Megs. Why? Because then, at the very least, Megs would have had no reason to stay on earth. Cube being gone and all. But ofcourse there are many variables.

Prime chose that he would rather give up his own life to destroy the cube than allow megatron to gain control of it and use it to enslave the universe.


Jetfire gave up his life to help prime save the sun and by extension the solar system from being destroyed by the sun harvester

Prime stood toe to robotic toe with 3 enemys to save the life of a friend

Never was there mention of not wanting to live.

Actually Optimus in the first movie said he would sacrifice himself to destroy the cube. Jetfire also said he would sacrifice himself to give OP his parts.....i don't know about the primes though....but it wasn't suicide.
