Hard to say... I've seen the first many times and ROTF just one, but I enjoyed ROTF much more than the first time of the first Transformers...

    I'll say ROTF

Transformers2:ROTF is better than the first movie BUT it can be seen that it wasn't refined as much as the first movie and I don't get why so many things changed from the novel version written by Alan Dean Foster that I can clearly say that would have made the movie perfect.
Anyway, even the Showest Sneak Peak Footage got cut on the theatrical release for no real reason, and those few sentences missing there would have helped a lot alone.
Michael Bay recently declared that there are 6-7 minutes of deleted scenes to be included on the Blu-Ray disc release of Transformers2. Well, I really hope that those are finalized scenes and they will be integrated fully in the movie along with the 2minutes approx IMAX ones because I am pretty sure that those could help the movie plot and characters development a lot, if they are like the seconds that have been cut compared to the Showest Footage. An extended version of the movie is absolutely needed. There are parts of it where it clearly seems that something is missing and I think that Michael Bay managed to film and finalize a lot more useful scenes that he could add in a Director's Cut/Extended Version.

As amazing as TF1 was, I wasn't too into the military aspect of it. I was jaw dropped by the graphics and realism of it. However TF2 was just that much more. Scene after scene of non-stop action.

I can't say yet, honestly. i've seen the first one many, many, many times (won't say how many)

But I want to see the second one again from I pass judgement on it. Will see it again tomorrow.
