As for the consequences, I, as a minority have been at the receiving end of racism. It is something not to be treated lightly or just tossed out there because you didn't like the movie. It can affect people's life on both ends yet you haters just toss blurb out these unfounded claims and false/delusional accusations like if it means nothing.

On the contrary Nelson, it means a great deal. I deplore racism; and indeed bigotry in all its forms. And it's for that very reason that I believe it's important to discuss the issue, rather than just completely ignore it and write it off as "false".

The way I see it a thread to debate the controversy surrounding this movie can only be a good thing, allowing everyone to air their views freely, without fear of deletion or banishment.

It's a fake controversy that's based on lies, and people just attempting to hit this movie and Bay through any means possible. Much like Fox News who makes the news up, and the asks "Is Obama Satan?" on their news cast.

I began my response with "on the contrary" to indicate that my opinion on racism is contrary to what you allege. Racism is a gravely serious matter, not to be made light of.

The MW dictionary defines racism as:

a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

This is not the case with this movie and it's surely not the case with it's director.

If the cube killed Megatron in the first movie, by putting it into his chest by Sam. How does it bring him back to life again by putting the shard into his chest in this movie?

I've seen the first one about 10+ times, and the 2nd one 3 times. I know that the cube holds raw power. So, it gives and takes life?

Cause the decepticon know the shard can be made into energon that could wake Megs from the stasis lock he was currently in. Optimus got his spark chamber destroyed via the backstab and the shot courtesy of Megs, so even if they could get the small shard there is nothing they could do as theres a wide gapping hole where the spark chamber was. The Matrix of leadership have some level of restoration power of sort,explains how it can reconstruct itself and gave optimus his spark back,again optimus real power is leadership,so him being revived by the matrix is just right.

This is exactly the point which should be debated. Opinions should be shared, discussion should be encouraged, and people can make up their minds for themselves. What's acceptable? What's unacceptable? Why?

The constitution doesn't guarantee free speech on radio and/or television much less the internet. It only guarantees that the government can't arrest you for speaking your mind.

Or else AOL would've had the everloving bejeebus sued out of them back in the 90s. You always have to agree to rules of privately owned message boards, etc. Pickard dude can freely walk down the street, peaceably, after making sure the paperwork is in order, carrying a sign saying TF is racist. He cannot, however, post it on a privately owned website which is maintained and funded by a private citizen. And additionally, there are cases where slander and libel may apply, thus limiting free speech even further.
