    Regarding Demolisher,

What other options did Prime have? Its not something that can be held in captivity nor can he let him loose.

The only logical thing to do was destroying Demolisher.

SO- just saw it again- gets better every time... noticed that Rampage is not one of the vehicles in Devastator- there is a yellow dozer, but Rampage is red in the movie. Also- Mixmaster is part of Devs, but isn't in robot form again until after the railgun blows D apart. The only "constucticon" that I question now is Longhaul. As for Arcee and the purple bike- they both get hit, but neither appears to be destroyed/have energon leak out... so who knows until next movie. Chromia does not get hit on screen.
In the credits- there is a credit for a voice to Skipjack-> who the eff is that?

Good point - There's no way more than one person didn't like the movie. THAT JUST COULDN'T BE POSSIBLE!!!

Interesting... Would it have been pertinent to question him about what he knew rather than

Point is, it's a kids movie. For all the foul language and crude "humour", that's just a cold hard fact, deal with it. [The amount of forum member claiming otherwise is hilarious! But I digress...] Kids should look at the leader of the Autobots and see a role model. In every incarnation of Transformers, Optimus Prime has personified the noble leader. There's a calmness to him; a gentility and strength and honor and dignity.

Not until BayFormers did he become a colloquialism-spouting, bloodthirsty, psychotic killing machine.

I agree, some of the cussing was a bit much in some areas. There was foul language in the first film, but it was just not as flagrant. I wanted to get back into the story, I didn't mind so much the twins cussing, but ironhide I could have done without. Tyrese in the hanger scene was not bad, but I think it should not have been so over the top in general. You can have a movie with strong dialogue and not use a single cuss word. Adding a word here and there does give it a sense of real world to it, but overdoing it just takes me out of the whole experience of the film. I mean, Transformers should not be equated to that of Pulp Fiction.

On another note, the bucktooth on the twin reminded me of Spongebob, I was like, does this actor have to have a bucktooth? Is that in his contract? lol

One thing I hope for in TF3, less humans...

So I was watching the previews and Epps said "freaky right" when optimus transforms in the hangar but in the Movie Epps says "if god made us in his image who s image are they made in" something like that... makes me wonder if the film has alot of scenes and lines removed that will be added during DVD /Bray release

    thoughts?

Less humans? What do you want a 3D cartoon? It would flop badly.
Transformers2 already has less humans than Transformers.
Transformers3 needs way more humans/aliens interaction. And it needs to have most of its scenes and plot inside a city (giant Decepticon disguised as a city...)

Flop badly? That is only because your mind is handicapped. There are plenty of movies that have not flopped where a decreased amount of human interaction has not beed a negative factor in its creation.

How do you figure that there were more transformers than humans in TF2? Math is obviously not your strong suit...

A city disguised as a Decepticon? Now that only works in a cartoon situation, your logic is definately flawed. Anyway, the biggest TF we will get will probably be the size of an aircraft carrier as Bay has mentioned in the past...

I think they need the interacting to be between humans and pretenders. Can you just imagine thinking you are a human and finding out you are really a Cybertronian in disguise? That would be so fun to watch!
They call me Ratchet Girl for a reason. Sometimes Skids girl.

Without humans the movie would be considered to be an expensive 3D cartoon and nothing more than that. Period. And it would fail its main target being teenagers and adults completely. Hasbro might want to sell toys to little kids but turning the movies into a lame cheap Power Rangers thing even with top-notch ILM CGI won't stop them from a huge flop at box office. It wouldn't be Transformers anymore anyway because humans and Earth are a key element of the mythology and original source material.

A city disguised as a Decepticon? Now that only works in a cartoon situation, your logic is definately flawed. Anyway, the biggest TF we will get will probably be the size of an aircraft carrier as Bay has mentioned in the past...
The biggest will be Unicron. Otherwise they wouldn't have introduced The Fallen and the history of Primes in Transformers2 and because it's a trilogy it's pretty obvious that the next step has to be Unicron (which will work for a live action movie only in a planetoid/moon form approaching Earth.. like appearing disguised as a new huge moon of Saturn for example... that then starts absorbing the planet Saturn itself and slowly moves towards Earth..just an idea)

Having a Decepticon city full of Pretenders hidden there using humans for experiments with militaries and Autobots trapped in the city while they were following some Pretenders... And having Sam,Mikaela,Leo and Bumblebee in the same city for different reasons totally unaware of anything else would allow Michael Bay to deliver some unique action scenes and very dark sci-fi horror-style scenes pushing the PG-13 envelope to the extreme and turning Transformers3 in the best movie ever having a very strong dark sci-fi plot and some never seen before fighting sequences inside skyscrapers and such..

And blatantly rip from T:S? I'm sure Bay doesn't want to go through another accusation.

I think T1 came before the Pretenders, but the new BSG ripped from both TF AND T1.

T1 was released in 1984. Pretenders came out in like...87?

    What's BSG?

I've never seen it, so I have no idea. I'm not a Terminator fan. I just think it would be cool to have a character that doesn't quite know what they are capable of. They can be either good or evil, it doesn't matter.

Ok, so I just got back from seeing ROTF at the real IMAX with a couple of friends that have not seen it. A couple personal things, opening night I was way excited and missed many little things that everyone started bitching about. My second viewing I was pretty wasted on Jager so it didn't count.
This time I was very aware and payed alot of attention to the things that people have been picking apart. WTF is everyone's problem? This movie is bad f**king ass.

Just to point this out because I noticed it because the trailers were running. The place was packed with almost 50/50 white/black and about 25% small children. Everyone was dying through the film, so everyone can just give it a rest. See the movie a couple times before passing judgement.

Soundwave is awesome! Voice is kind of a bummer. My only disappointment beside the lack of Barricade.

I was watching the Constructicon thing closely because it seems to be the biggest gripe. Long Haul is completely validated as is Rampage. They are in the beginning (ocean) and in the end (village), nothing to do with Devs. You see Long Haul in the village in Egypt well before the pit scene. You see the other dumptruck in the pit when they pull up, clearly a different truck. My only problem is Mixmaster. They should have never shown the hood ornament on him on the boat. The only clarification I can come up with is that he was scanned by Ravage and duplicated on one of Devs Cons. That would make sense for him to pull up in the pit with the same ornament. However, neither of my friends pointed it out and they are both nit picking bitches.

That's it, all I got, they both loved it, I loved it again. Going to see it again very soon.

    Firefrost...out!
