It's a third movie and the third movie is always connected with the first one - so I expect to see Rachael Taylor again. Sam and Maggie know each other, and that means only one thing - no Mikaela Banes.
It's crazy, but who knows...anything is possible ( just don't kill Turturro ).
On a side note, Rachael Taylor is absolutely gorgeous ( sorry Megan, but you can't win here ) and I would love to see her again in a Transformers movie.

I think Primus and Unicron would have to be something of Cybertronian design or something of not Earth. They have to be somewhat similar to what they were comics, toys and cartoons, etc. Cybertron = Primus, Unicron is its own entity. If not its so utterly pointless to have them, just have lower ranked Transformers in the movie.
I think a senario would be great plot wise if Unicron (planet sized) rebuilds Megatron into Galvatron, tells him that the Fallen was an apprentice of himself (Unicron), and he also commands him to destroy Optimus Prime and Sam (because they have the essence of the Matrix of Leadership within them, which is the key to awakening Primus... which is what Unicron would fear). Unicron destroys some of the planets in the sollar system, and vows to destroy Earth. The Autobots realise that they have no choice but to awaken Primus, even if the essence doesn't have enough spark to keep Primus conscious long enough to stop Unicron.
Sam, Mikaela and the Autobots journey to Cybertron's core to awaken Primus. A fierce battle between a possesed Galvatron (evil in any event) and his Decepticon army takes place in the ruined and death filled cities of Cybertron. The fight leads all the way to the core, eventually. A badly wounded Optimus uses the essense of the Matrix, as well as Sam (he carries it as well) and they awaken Primus. Primus automatically knows that his eternal evil brother, Unicron, has caused great havok. Primus screams Unicron's name in the Cybertronian language... which is heard throughout the galaxy and Unicron hears it. Primus and Unicron battle to the death, Primus wins, then he says the line "Till all are one" transforms back into Cybertron and goes back into his slumber.
Epic, yeah? (besides, Shia Labeouf said he would love a galactic battle - just that the writers don't see how Shia can take on Unicron. Well? Who cares! Its called TRANSFORMERS!)

- Human allies for the Decepticons (Arkeville?).
- Robot mode (and more screen-time) for Soundwave.
- The movie's human/robot ratio should be in favour of the robots this time
- More fembots!
- Unicron (this one's iffy, as everybody seems to be unsure whether Unicron can/should be used at all)

Awww, I think the Autobots should stay. I mean, isn't Cybertron a lifeless husk anyways? What about the whole thing Prime said about Earth being "a new world to call home"? This whole defeating the Decepticon thing and peace between humans and Autobots can spark a new era for humanity. It wouldn't seem right if the Autobots simply left.
I think there should be a spin-off series after TF3. Bay doesn't have to direct it. Hell, it could be animated for all I care.

Yes, but make sure the robots still have that awe that they presented in the first movie. Having so many robot scenes (by themselves) sorta dulls their incredibility. Seeing the bots from the humans' viewpoint somehow makes them more awesome. Because you're standing on the ground looking up at these guys, going "WOW."- The movie's human/robot ratio should be in favour of the robots this time

I don't think there is a direct definition of what Cybertron is now, what it looks like (yes, I've seen that picture on wikipedia of hows Cybertron is this planetoid meteor with spikes all around it). In TF1, it says the war consumed the planet. In TF2 Optimus Prime speaks of how many generations were lost, I guess it could interpreted in any way. Unless spoke in the film or by writer, director, etc. that the planet simply doesn't exist.
I like to think the planet is Decepticon infested and the Autobots got their asses kicked off the planet in the war for the All-spark.

yeah but in the first movie dvd, theres a special feature where epps talk on the plane (opening scene) about his kid's names and his team laugh at him. it was cut in the final edit though.
