What i wish to see in Transformers 3

No more things that lag the movie experience altogether like pointless elements such as some of the characters, plot points, etc. (like no Sam going to College, Sam trying to be normal, Leo Spitz, the Witwicky parents, Goverment/military interference, etc.)

But anyways, yeah I agree with the Government thing and the Military - It just gives it a more realistic outlook to what an alien race would end up going through if they came here.

Sam just sitting in his garage for three years waiting for something exiting to stirr up?? of course we need elements of 'mini-stories' of lives they independently want to live without the Transformers and they just HAPPEN to get caught in the middle of all of it. We need elements like of Sam trying to be like every other teenager and his roomie. That's the whole point.

honestly, they could do a optimus/rodimus hand over. say for example, they both lead a small band of autobots and they both have different opinions on how things should be done, resulting in a punch up between the two

now lets, for arguement's sake, say that the matrix is now part of optimus prime and it gets literally torn from his chest along with his spark. and the matrix, used by a prime, is the only thing that can take out unicron from the inside by combining it with his own very spark.

so rodimus retrieves the matrix somehow and rams it into his own chest, "reformatting" to be a massive new autobot that slightly resembles Optimus (maybe the face mouth plate thing?).


In the original animated movie, i believe ratchet, wheeljack, ironhide and cliffjumper got taken out right at the start. if ratchet and ironhide were to be taken out it would open up more character development for Jolt and Sideswipe, which, i feel, were just added in for shits and giggles. It would also allow for maybe two more autobots, perhaps ultra magnus and god forbid blur (but we allready have the twins we dont need any more annoying comic relief).

sadly Robert Stack, the voice of Ultra Magnus, died in 2003. But I have a more unorthadox person who I personally feel would make a good voice for Ultra Magnus. Seth Rogen. Dont ask me why, i just think it would sound right. :lol:

One thing though i feel is needed less is american cars. Rodimus initially, i feel, would make a good Austin Martin db9 (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/84/23...6c18abd6e4.jpg) or a Bugatti veyron-16.

One character i feel would also be different is an autobot that becomes a decepticon. In transformers energon of all things, an autobot named inferno gets currupted by megatron inot beccoming a decepticon. Very unlikely to happen. Although Hot Rod/Rodimus is very impulsive and a bit of a 'Hot Head' at time, the last thing Optimus would want to do is have to fight with him and hurt him. Remember what happened in the G1 'The Rebirth of Brith of Optimus Prime?'?

(imo) That would be VERY out-of-chartcter for Hot Rod There is no way Hot Rod would purposely combine the matrix with his own spark to become Rodimus Prime. He’d give it back to Optimus Prime the first change he got! And I think all the autobots know who the rightful leader is and who the Matrix belongs too

Yes...Blurr! (Sorry, Blurr is one of my fav characters, so when anyone posts about him, I can't help but pounce). I believe the only person that would do Blurr any justice is Blurr himself 'John Moschitta'! I mean come one...he's awesome

heh it was an outline, i mean they could fill out the details in 2 and a half hours couldnt they? i mentioned the matrix was torn out of optimus' chest along with his very spark so it couldnt be used to revive him a second time. so perhaps instead of rodimus doing it to himself, perhaps the hero of the hour sam could? maybe after some event where rodimus decides to hold off a bucket load of decepticons so they could get away, resulting in getting royaly owned and missing some limbs?

and between Optimus and Rodimus, i mean more a scuffle, like they dont want to hurt each other, just to try and emphasise a point. foe example optimus could turn his back on rodimus and he shoot him in the back. wouldnt hurt him, just enough to scratch the paint something akin to throwing a paper cup filled with water at him. Optimus could shove rodimus through a wall, rodimus could throw a mailbox or a lawn chair, something equally as light back.

and i stand by making Blurr a mini cooper. not a new one but an old one with a union jack roof

Ohh definitely more of sideswipe, His design and voice over was amazing...to bad we didn't see enough of him. Who else thought that Jetfire's voice over was just superb?? I absolutely loved it..matched perfectly with the character

Blurr is the fastest autobot, therefore needs the fastest car!

If you're gonna have Blurr, irrespective of who voices him, I think it's best to have him talk at normal speed, or maybe only slightly faster, so it sounds like he's constantly in a hurry. When he talks fast, it can be hard to understand what he's saying. Audiences could potentially be complaining about 'that robot who talks too fast'.

indeed, thats the only beef with the old Blurr, he talked far too fast to understand sometimes
