Yeah, I agree. I don't feel attachted to this movie at all. Other the Prime dieing their was no mystical or 'breath-taking amazing' scenes. Like you said, nothing in TF2 has really compared to the 'Arrival' scene and Bumblebee's capture(which I think was sadder then OPs death, cuz I cried when he was caught but not when OP died) in TF1. In total, I think TF1 is better then TF2 because.... well I don't know how to describe it but it feels much more touching.

Haha, ya, now that you say it... Exactly the capture of Bumblebee was great and I think I also had tears in my eyes...
Which I also had when the autobots arrived... Because that's exactly what Bay is about... Man, though I'm German I even have goosebumps all over the place when there's a military Bay scene, US flag in slomo and whatnot...
But in this movie there was nothing... I just still can't even believe it.. I mean, what happened..?
The death of prime wasn't touching at all e.g. (for me).
And all the parts where you could hear Jablonskys great score were so short and had no atmosphere as well

Oh and it's so funny how all those people, no matter which side, are always all their same little world...
There are either those who hate Bay anyway, because he's just about explosions and no characters and story.
Then there's the public watching his movies... not really caring for Bay, but just for a good entertaining flick they forget the second they get out of the theater.
Then there are the Bay fans (very rare) who defend Bay no matter what. But don't really get what Bay is about (they usually like the content of the movie - explosions or whatever).

And then there are people who love what Bay does... but only if it's well.. good.
As I wrote I'm the greatest Bay fan ever... But if it doesn't work... it doesn't work.. unfortunately.

I just don't know what happened. Ah well.

PS: I usually hate people complaining, and that's all I'm writing regarding this movie... Just had to write it down... and looking forward to Bay's next..

As annoyed as a lot of us sound with all the comedy and caricatures in the film, when I saw it the audience burst into laughter every time; nothing seemed to fall flat. Michael Bay definitely knows what he's doing, but it's a little disappointing that he's always going for the low hanging fruit. I feel as though there were a lot of missed opportunities to give the film some more layers. We'll see what the third entry brings...

The things is in the first movie I was attached to Bumblebees capture because you didn't know if he was going to die or not, everything was up in the air.

Here, I knew prime was coming back, there were Prime/Jetfire toys and that hadn't happen in the movie yet so he had to come back. Also with all the stupid fan outrage from the Animated movie I knew that Bay would not get away with killing prime for good in the movies.

Also had the trailers not shown spots of Sam up and about with his shirt have burnt off I would have been a little more anxious about his survival after that part.

The trailers and Toy gave far too much away in my opinion. I understand the need for hype but a lot of the movie was spoiled just by movie trailers and TV spots.

Hideously long and boring, offensive racial stereotypes, indistinguishable robot designs, completely incoherent action sequences and "comedy" which makes "Scary Movie 4" look like "Dr Strangelove".

And mouth-breathers will lap it up. The decline of Western civilisation continues.

In all seriousness, the spectacularly bloated nature of this film may have a lot to do with the absence of "supervision" from Mr Spielberg.

This movie is leery, hateful and truly astonishingly terrible.

I'm dumbstruck.

Quite possibly The Worst Film I've Ever Seen.

Get over it. Accept that not everyone agrees with you - in fact the OVERWHELMING response to this film has been negative. That's just a cold, hard fact.

I signed up to the forums a while back but just don't visit or post very often. I thought all at michaelbay.com would appreciate some honest feedback on the movie - regardless of whether it's positive or negative.

People, like me, who have been TF fans and Michael Bay fans for years, have just as much right to post our opinions on this movie as you do.

What? Because we didn't like it, we should just shut the f*ck up, and let Mr Bay and the studio bosses think that we'll just swallow any old shit that they decide to throw at us?

I'm sorry, but I actually think that this time around, it's the people who loved this movie, and can see no wrong in it, that are the ones who are in the minority.

Critics aside...I haven't read a single review...NOT ONE...that has anything positive to say about this movie, except for the stunning visual effects created by the amazing artists over at ILM, and I totally agree with them. These are some of the greatest effects ever seen on screen.

It's everything else that really lets this movie down....BADLY!

Why can't people just accept that there will be fans out there who don't like this movie?
Does that mean that they weren't true fans to begin with?

I've probably got Transformer toys that are older than some of the people on this forum, who seem to think they have the right to tell me that I can't express my opinion on here because it's different to theirs! Or because I'm not a regular poster, that I suddenly have no right to be critical of a movie that I had really hoped would be better!

For the people who loved it...I'm happy that you did.
For the people like me who thought it wasn't just bad...but really bad...I share your pain, because I'm sure...just like me...you really, really, really wanted this movie to be brilliant, and have been let down badly by the chaotic mess that is ROTF.

This movie was Lazy

Forget the fake ass Kill all Heroes.

And the fact that Prime with no upgrades can now Trounce Megatron and backup.

No one will deny there were cool parts. Isabelle Lucas' Bony ass as a Pretender was preedy cool [notice how I didnt say Pretty.]

But for the sake of not having any Decepticon characters they reused bodies and had dozens of clones. Instead of say A 5th decepticon we can Understand! we got 2x Constructicons and those 'We don't turn to anything' Boys! I mean really how many who gives a shit bots landed?

so Where tF is Barricade? And What did Starscream Go to Cybertron for? so he is actually not treacherous but a coward with no backup? and Where did soundwave come from?

And how bout spending 20 minutes watching Sam and smelly ass run across the Desert, instead of Autobot action or HMMMMM Seeing what Jolt does!!! Pretty sure the only thing Sideswipe did in the last fight was Get shot in the face.

I dont think we had a single frame of stillness for any of the girls, As soon as I saw Ironhide transform first I knew this would be the same old Ride. The models were better Bumblebee and Prime seemed more together and thought out, But now that I think about it there were very few transformations in this movie [does that sound like a good idea considering the noun?] Like what did the Fallen turn into? and I wanted to See Sideswipe do more and also Jolt.

Wait wait wait Railgun??? so in the end like the first Movie The Military will save Earth themselves and Autobots arent worth the technology we could make if we smelted and dissected them.

Sun destroying Matrix Of leadership, huh? ...Just think about that for a second, cause I know they didn't [I guess thats not fair they were on strike.] At least they coined the phrase "Sock-Sand"

The only Good thing about this film was that They got Killing Prime and Killing Sam out of the way so Hopefully 3 will be nothing but good times Fights and a real Plot. [...yeah. I know, I wrote it.]

I read a review that gave it 1.3 out of 5. I second that emotion. Soundwave Ravage and Devastator cannot make up for the fact that none of the transformers are really likable characters and bumblebee still can't talk. It still feels too much Like Jurassic park or Alien where its Humans dealing with monsters.

just came back. the movie was sooo epic!. finally the imax scenese was just WOW!. people started clapping when OP ripped Blackout/Grindor face! after the credits roll, i was the only one clapping then follow others.

It's and awesome epic rollercoaster from the beginning to the end. ¿how can you care about the flaws when the movie keeps you so much time so excited? That must mean something.

I have just 2 "bad" things to say:

-Cinematography: I still miss Schwartzman :__(
-The megaweapon wich destroys devastator: Should have appeared earlier in the film (maybe when Leo meet Sam, he could have talk about that as a "real" rumor or something like that).

PD: who the hell could find the plot hard to follow? is very clear.
