It's not even worth getting worked up about. There were so many things that pissed me off that I wish I could just throw something at the IMAX screen.

Default Michael Bay is a GOD!!!!

I went to see TF2 last night here in Northern Ireland and all I can say is......Awesome Pussycat.. I wont give anything away but he has redeemed himself in my eyes. I liked the first movie but thought it was too geared towards a mass market with too many humans all arsing about and not enough Transformer battles and I can under stand why due to budget and to draw the biggest all round audience and not just the fan boys.

BUT TF2 is just WOW... It still keeps the charm and humour of the first movie but boy is it a hats off to the Transformers Lore this will Keep all the Fan boys happy this time and I'm one of them

I'm on booking more tickets for Sunday night as I have got to see it again, I'm now battling with myself over which is the best movie I have seen so far Star Trek or Transformers but I think its going to have to be TF2....

F.A.O Michael Bay...Man I love you...Go have your well earned rest now and then come back and give us UNICRON and HOT ROD and you will be my GOD forever.. And Hats off to the whole Bay Team and the guys at ILM and Digital Domain

Nothing is too much after Transformers 2 lol.. plus it didn't stop that silly movie Fantastic 4 trying a planet sized eating machine..

Hot Rod would be great to have in the 3rd movie and have him become a Prime at the end..Till all are one...

No way. No Hot Rod. Certainly not Rodimus Prime at the expense of Optimus Prime. No.

If they can pull it off with Unicron in the third movie then that would be amazing!

    Arrow Next Time!

ROTF The film was nice! But As a Michael bay Fan,i was a little disapointed because i know He is capable of making a good film and could have made this film better but whom am I to critic!:deadhorse1: atleast Transformers Fanboys/Kid$/Paramount will be happy,Maybe his next film might be better,I also Think/hope When Michael will get Enough money to satisfy his Ego,He`ll be able to sit still put away the toys and make a masterpiece because he has a great Visual sense And can do Better.

Default THANK YOU Michael and Team

I hope this is OK posting here,

Just wanted to say as I know Michael reads and contributes to this forum.....

    THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!

Excellent work from yourself and the whole team, went last night to see Revenge and I thought it was AMAZING, It totally exceeded my expectations,

The Audience in the Cinema that I watched it at were very vocal (which is something you don't see a lot of in British cinema's) they laughed, fell very silent and felt uplifted at the relevant parts,

I'm already planning repeat visits next week as well as a possible trip to take it in on IMAX

Apologies if I shouldn't have posted this in the main forum but I merely wnated to express my gratitude,

Once again, THANK YOU Michael Bay and Team, you folks are great

Can't wait for the next one.... but in the mean time enjoy your break guys you've definitely earned it,

    Kindest regards
    Tys

I got invited to a GM Premier and took pictures of the Camaro they had brought. I didn't stay to see it though, I had already bought IMAX tickets. Loved it!

Simply put: the movie was BADASS.

The highlight of my night though was when Michael came out and introduced the movie beforehand. SO awesome.

Unhappy Re: The Official TF RoTF discussion thread **Reviews go here** [ SPOILERS ]

    Simply, 8/10. (SPOILERS)

It was very funny and entertaining, however, it was disappointing.

Firstly, in my opinion there were just too many robots! I liked the first one a lot because it was a small group of robots fighting each other, though respectively a sequel would need double the amount of robots. I think it was the fight scenes which I despised, most of them were very anti-climatic, and after a while the slow-mo got annoying.

And that brings us to - - - - Second, there was just too much slow-motion! It was fine at some parts, but after a while it got very annoying.

A lot of it was cor
ny. (rollover to see SPOILERS unless you're using the black interface, in which case just skip this part) When Sam "dies" was corny, the romance was very corny, and the Matrix bringing Optimus back to life was extremely corny!

The acting was subpar, especially from Megan. I think she just got too comfortable, that and the lines they gave her. What made her acting fine in the first movie, I believe, was that she was trying so hard. Now she's a big star, and it seems as if she didn't put too much into this role. Plus, when did Mikaela become so slutty?

Some of the human characters were unnessesary. I don't want to go into too much detail on this one, but for those who have seen the movie, you get what I'm saying?

    _____________________________________

Overall, I would have written it much differently, but at the same time I give it an 8/10. However, as a sequel specifically, I give it a 4/10....... it just wasn't what you'd expect.

I believe it's time for Orci and Kurtzman to take a break, and give another group of writers the opportunity to write the third installment, or better yet just leave it at 2 films.

    REVIEW

It felt like riding in a washing machine for a few hours. A wild and direct assault on the human senses. However, there are flaws.

    Cons:

-Convoluted plot that jumps across the map
-The Twins humor is hit and miss (Mostly miss)
-overwhelming and bloated at times have you trying to recover
-other humor is hit or just there (I didn't laugh or shake my head a lot)

    Pros:
-the cinematography of the action scenes is excellent yet kinetic. Easy to tell what happens and gives you the feeling that you are in the battle (Forest, Shanghai, Egypt)
-epic music score from Steve Jablonsky
-superb voice acting on Peter Cullen, Tony Todd, and Hugo Weaving along with the rest
-Shia and Megan have a nice chemistry while John Turturro returns as an ally instead of a silly adversary
-Duhamel and Gibson make dependable soldiers
-the computer FX blend in well with the on location environments
-pyrotechnics, stunts, and computer FX are excellent

    3.8 out of 5.0

I like the first one slightly more but this one upends it in the machine vs. machine action. I could have done without the Twins but Sideswipe, The Fallen, Devastator, JetFire and other additions were welcome. (Not enough Sideswipe though)

Nice to see StarScream and Megatron bicker at each other.
