    Default Bay and fantasy movies?

Dunno if there's a thread about this already.

But I could really imagine MB making a traditional fantasy movie in the style of LOTR including lots of dragons, magic, knights and wizards. Something about sacrificing for the greater good etc. A dream coming true would for me be MB directing a movie based on the novel the Legend of Huma (It has it all, magic, dragons, love, friendship, sacrifice, trust, all the basic hero stuff and more)
Yes it's me in my avatar and yes it's inspired by Michael Bay!

It would be nice, I'm no fan of sacrifice though.

I think the only movie MB should do between TFs is "My Vacation in Tuscany" or something to that effect

hahaha!. I agree, let the man have a rest............but after TF3, I'd love to see him do a big fun fantasy.

Hum...is Legends of Huma a dragonlance novel? I'm probably wrong, but its sounds familar, now I need to go look it up.

It is indeed a Dragonlance novel by Richard A. Knaak. It was my forst fantasy book and I read it at the time of Armageddon (I saw Huma as Ben Affleck and his elven love as Liv Tyler (I guess I did get some of my imagination into reality with LOTR ) Let me just say I do not want Ben Affleck to play Huma... I don't know who should get the roles. I don't really care if it will be the Legend of Huma but I would really like to see a fantasy movie in the Bay style Could also be cool if he gets to direct the upcomming Warcraft movie!

Sounds nice. If he makes a fantasy film, he would do it beautifully.

Yes, the more I think about it, the more I'd like to see him do a fantasy. Thought I'm not sure about what.

But first A BIG VACATION and than TF3

Isn't Transformers a fantasy film? Shia LaBeouf's fantasy anyway?

Bay has the talent to tackle any genre.

I think Bay style would fit perfect in a fantasy film.

For example Spellfire would be awesome in Bay style.

I believe that he can make a great "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde meets Frankenstein and Count Dracula" fantasy movie. Just imagine his visual style combined with the creepy, gothic atmosphere of Transylvania.

    It'll be something spectacular.

You know, I'd still be interested to see what Bay would do for a fantasy movie...(After he's finished with Transformers 4)
Maybe an Urban fantasy...that way we wouldn't have to lose out on his awesome car chase scenes.

Too bad there's only one Bay and he can't clone himself. LOL

I don't know, i didn't really like Van Helsing.. Haven't seen or remember the movies you guys are talking about but if Michael has inspiration for making such a movie if he likes and thinks he can make something cool then i'm excited to see it of course.
