I voted no. Don´t get me wrong. TF ROTF will defintly break some box office records in terms of best starting weekend or something. But Titanic may be unbeaten for a very long time.

Yes, I agree! Revenge Of The Fallen, I feel will do very well this summer. Top blockbuster of the summer. As for beating Titanic or even The Dark Knight let's say. Probably not.

However, some records were meant to be broken. Michael Bay and Transformers 2 has already broken a few.

It sucks because a year ago I made a bet with my room mate that it would beat out Titanic in ticket sales. Now I'm kinda of pulling out because of the way things fell. It will crush the box office and probably leave a pretty good dent in it's wake. It would be nice to see it nudge up the chart towards Titanic for the sake of TF

Yes, movie theaters have been full during the economic crisis according to an article I jsut read and everyone Iknow whant to see TF 2 from young kids to older adults. I will probable see it twice this summer

The first Transformers made 319 billion us 708 billion world wide. Harry potter and the order of the phoenix made 292 billion us and 938 billion world wide, As much as I hate to say it it will have a hard time beating HP again.

Yeah it's in Millions actually. I think that the movie will make a crap load in the first couple of weeks, maybe beat the first film, and then stop making the money drastically. The reason why the first one made the success that it did is because of people saying to their friends that it's good and from there it grew to 700 million. For ROTF, it has been hyped since the first one and will make a HUGE profit way too quickly to travel around by word-of-mouth(or whatever it's called).
