Dinobots, Grimlock and Galvatron thread

OK two points one, the dino bots were made to stop devastator, were they not and just how do they do that if hes dead, and number two wtf dinobots yeah no, grimlock as somthing uniqe and powerful maybe, the dodge ram trex 6x6 is not a bad idea i wouldnt use a dodge but its not a bad idea, it is unique, but i was thinking maybe a g1 hummer, or Even maybe a toyota fj cruier custom

If memory serves me, and I'm just nit-picking here, I believe Devastator and the constructicons were built by the decepticons AFTER the Dinobots were built. The constructicons and Devastator were the decepticons solution to defeating the dinobots.

Also, people are talking about the Dinobots taking on other forms so as they might better fit in with Bay's version of Transformers. My question is, is IF they were put in the movie as something other than dinosaurs, then don't they just become just another autobot? They are called Dinobots because their alt modes are dinosaurs... When I was a kid, thats what made them cool. That and the fact that they were huge compared to the other autobots.

Throwing them into the movie, making them stupid (like in the cartoon) but giving them a different alt mode, defeats the purpose of putting them there in the first place. There would no longer be anything unique about them, except that they're stupid, and really big.

Dunno, just my two cents. I still give a solid two thumbs down to the idea of dinobots. Bay, I hope you're listening...

In the book TF:ROTF it does make mention that there were transformers here on earth during the time of the dinosaurs. So if that would be mentioned during the movie it could be a good set up for later bringing in the Dinobots.

it has already been said in an interview that Orci wants the Dinobots in the third movie. He can very easily write them in. Its then up the ILM and crew to pull off making them look good enough to be in the film

Yea but Shadow, Orci and Kurtzman both said that they dont wanna risk getting stale. You think that they'll get signed up for 3?

dont really know. I do knoe they would like to produce the 3rd with Bay directing again. I'll write thee 3rd one if they want lol Im sure with all i know of the TFs universe, I can come up with a good continuation of the story as well as giving people something new and exciting.

But Shadow, not to crush your ambition to write the 3rd movie, but you think that they would wanna hire someone who has experience with writing movie scripts? (which Orci and Kurtzman do in fact have). Though, it really depends on what their definition of "new blood" is, so who knows.

I was on the fence at first about the dinobots, but after seeing how cool (insert even better word than cool) the CGI looks on the clips for this movie, I think the dinobot would look really kickass. Though, it would all depend on how well the script was written, because making the dinobot fit into the movies in a logical mannor will take some work, I think.

I am a big fan of Transformers and Megan Fox, and I would like in the third part of the Transformers characters add to the Dinobots, including its leader Grimlock, like Megatron into Galvatron evolves, and perhaps some references to the series Beast Wars Transformers that I believe is one of the best animation with the animated series of Transformers Generation 1

If they had Dinobots, I would only like it if the actual Dinobot mode is their Cybertronian form and their ALT mode is a vehicle. That would be more feasible and easier to explain than why a robot would choose a dinosaur as an ALT mode
