Which I would be glad to do, if the nearest IMAX wasn't almost 5 hours away... It's lame that IMAX gets a better cut when not everybody is able to see it, and what's even worse is they aren't even building TRUE IMAX theaters anymore, only the retarded stepchild ones.

90 miles is doable... it's a bit of a drive, but certainly doable...

Hopefully the Extended Cut will come to Blu-ray and switch aspect ratios like dark knight did.

Wow what a schedule. By all accounts sounds like the premire was a success, can't wait to see it for myself in less than 2 weeks.

What I don't understand is that Bay said he's still working on the movie and yet it's being shown at the Premiere? Please someone shed some light.

Sure all you have to do is reread what Michael wrote.

Even today after the press in Japan and right before the premiere tonight, I have to sneak out to a digital house to approve the last few effect shots.
If it's a good movie, the sound could go off and the audience would still have a perfectly clear idea of what was going on.

    About time!:lol
Now I see why Mike wants a year off. An IMAX screen is very far. They should set this images in DVD & Blu-Ray, well a special edition for DVD.

    Need a Blu-Ray...

Congratulations on finishing the movie Mr Bay, I have a feeling it's going to blow me away even more than the first did!

Can anyone tell me when the IMAX version comes out? I seem to remember that the first movie didn't come out on IMAX for a couple of months after the theatrical release (at least in the UK). Still, I'll be seeing this one a couple of times in both formats just like last time, I should think!

    Anyway---someone said about driving 249 miles...for the imax experience...are you gonna do it..?if u'll do it--I'll do my 90 to rochester,NY

Hmm, we donīt have many IMAX theaters here in Germany. The problem is, I have read in several forums that some people donīt want to go watching ROTF anymore because they think the movie is cut in normal theaters. What should I say to those people?

Iīm watching ROTF in any case, and hope for a BluRay release with the IMAX scenes included.
If they wonīt be included, I fear that many insiders wonīt buy the BluRay as well.

BTW, whereīs the "Ask Michael Bay" section? I really would have liked to ask him.
