Lightbulb Transformer Movies with PG Rating??

I was wondering if they have thought about making the Transformers movies rated PG (censored versions) so that kids younger, like ages 5-12, can watch these movies? The Transformer toys are in the stores and these are the ages of kids buying them, my 7-year old loves them, but the sexual content of the movie is inappropriate for him. They make censored CDs, why not DVDs? Thanks.

Yet you didn't find several key plot points of the movie inappropriate? You know, where Blackout kills thousands of US troops? Or would you find the final fight in the city appropriate, where I couldn't even keep track of how many people died?

I don't know how you could possibly keep this move to a PG rating with all that going on, not even counting Frenzy and Bonecrusher killing a few people on their own. It just seems odd that you are more concerned with Megan Fox being attractive, or a short 3-minute joke with Sam's Parents.

Hence the biggest problem in this country. We overly censor everything and look at where that has gotten us. We have higher teen birth rates then just about every country on the face of this planet. Censorship is for the weak minded.

What bugs me is how death and destruction is ok for kids, yet sexual innuendo isn't. Seriously... :wtf

wow really? im still pissed that the first one had to be toned down to get a pg 13 rating. im sick of everything being toned down and then comming out with an unrated dvd. so no i dont think they should come out with a pg cencored version, how about you and your kid stick to transfoermers animated (which is actually aimed for lil kids) and leave the big boy movies to us if you cant handle a few women curves and jokes.

Dude, it was Disturbia that got toned down for a PG-13 rating. Am I the only one that knows that?!

My 6 year old brother loves the movie - Our parents weren't concerned about the "Sexual REFERENCES". It's not like he knows what the word 'masturbation' means.

Maybe, Hostel, or American Pie isn't so suitable.

It would be appropriate, all things considered. Very wide fan base, age wise.

But, I think that's why they created Transformers Animated.... so that us older folk can enjoy a bit of carnage, and the lil guys can enjoy their colorful cartoons.

Or you can just get over it and stop sheltering your child. Newsflash, sex is part of life and we were actually born nude and *Gasp* came out of a woman through her vagina.

Must be. Because the article I read said it was Transformers. But just in case, I looked up the old article. Here it is.

So it's not a matter of fans being wrong. If anything misinformed. That article CLEARLY says Transformers had an R rating initially.

If it was not talking about Transformers, then it was a very poorly written article.

Easy. Replace bullets with M&M's and a running race, instead of a war.

Yeah, let's censor the shit out of everything till every bit of media has the depth of a Looney Toons short! The movie is as bay wants it to be, non of your complaining about inconsequential stuff is not going to change that. We cannot live in a world where saccharine puritans dictate what our movies, music and books should contain. People with no artistic spart dictating what an artist can and cannot do. Damn disgusting.

Maybe ask Stallone to edit Rambo for your kid?

Well i really don't think the kids would even care what the characters are saying, they wouldn't even understand most of the sexual humor and usually they just watch it for the big robots and the action.

PG still means parental guidance.......seriously is there that much of a difference between PG and PG-13? Shouldn't the parent....you know...parent, and not leave it up to some random rating anyways?

That's not how American's handle things. We get fat, blame it on McDonalds, throw our kids in front of the TV and complain when it's not raising them properly.

Well some do that. A lot seem to do that, at least that's how the media portrays them.

Of course not!!! Then said parent would have to take responsibility for their offspring... and that's just unAmerican! Just ask Elmo and Tinky Wink

    Agree.

Just say no to edited for content.

    This is Bay's movie.
