Damn you America! just kiddingCar's there are so cheap compared to Australia, I've thought about buying cars in the US and then shipping them back to Australia and getting the Right hand drive conversion done.
For example:
New BMW M3 is USA is approx $60,000, In Australia well over $100,000!
New Jaguar XF in USA $50,000 - $75,00, In Australia $90,000 - $120,000+
2011 Mustang or Camaro in USA $30,000 - $45,000, in Australia $100,000+
The only way to predict the future is to invent it.
Even with the shipping, import tax and right hand drive conversion the car's are still cheaper in USA. When i was in the Bay last year I saw some classic 1967 Mustang's for $3,000 - $5,000, I was thinking about buying two, one to keep for myself as a pet project to work on and upgrade and one to fix up and sell off. Classic Mustangs are super massive chick magnets but expensive here.
The only way to predict the future is to invent it.
About to get this in a few days!
