Why decepticon protoforms?

Hi im new here

But yea, i was wondering why so many protoforms were included in the movie (as seen in trailers and mtv movie clip) when they could have made the fans happy and include more characters that we're familiar with and would love to see on the bigscreen. . But yea the movie hasnt come out yet so there might be a reason for it, but still id rather see decepticons choose earth modes instead of protoforms.

I wonder if anyone feels the same way as me or disagrees.

People are guessing there proto forms, we don't know yet as we have not seen the movie, I'm sure it will all make sense.

1. if they are protoforms there is no where to scan a viehcle or Bay just hasn't shown us the scanned form yet

2. Bay could of put them in so that there were more robots to fight. It takes more time to make a brand new unique robot then to take a protoform and just copy it a few times so there are more fights.

has anyone thought about... like Megatron, some others dont care to take on Earth forms. I would think some D-cons would think that by taking on human Earth forms to be beneath them. Besides i sure its a bit easier to throw some Proto forms in there for fodder troops and with them looking alike its a bit easier on not having to make so many unique bots. Besides make sure to wait through the credits and you will see a lot of very cool stuff

i will never make teh mistake to leave the cinemas until every sec of the credits had been over lol

I agree with Shadow. I'd bet a lot of the Decepticons (if they are newly arrived and the battle is already on) won't care or have reason to scan earth stuff.

and besides if they landing in the DESERT what form are they going to take ? a tree?b pyramid? cant choose on the sand cuz devastator is eating it all up so yea lol

The way I figure it, if you crash your ass into something and then have to engage your enemies in battle, it doesn't matter what your alternate mode is so long as you have big ass guns/swords etc as a robot.

No, I'm just wondering if they ACTUALLY wanted to land DIRECTLY onto the carrier.

They fall like comets, notice the autobots caused massive destruction when they came down. There's no steering for these things as they fall.

this raises an interesting point ...how many protoforms could earth's atmospere take before it gets to weak to sustain life. I was watching this show on discovery channel about comets and such and how experts on the show stressed the concern of too much activity could harm the atmosphere so.... just a thought :lol maybe the dcons know this and are killing us slowly

and to answer you directly.... how would you feel if they had umm lets say thundercraker show up just to be blasted quick, kind of a waste of a cool character

like previously stated ... protoforms is a nice way to get some cool fight scenes in

I think the d-cons hit the ship becase they were homeing in on megatron! what i'm saying is, when they started off in space. they made a b-line for him! With the help of soundwave.

There is no point in them scanning vehicles either, since they are probably not here to hide.

I like the cool look of the protoforms, they look really alien and sinister. Can't wait to see them in action.
