so is it megs original personality or has it changed since his reboot?

In G1 when Megs got changed into Galvatron, his personality never really changed, he was still crazy, pyscho and power hungry.

In the movie, it's already been talked about that his agenda hasnt really changed. He wants "what's in Sam's head" he basically wants absolute power. I also read somewhere that he remembers the human that killed him off.

I think he is still has the same personality, just way angrier.

this scene is so gonna rock!..after rewinding and pausing the trailers on youtube..ive noticed prime cutting off blackouts left arm and starscream in half..it probably happened right after megatron kicked him and send him flying..Damn so many guesses and prediction I cannot wait to see this!

Not only that, but it makes sense. When you come back, why would you suddenly wanna change you're name? Like..."I used to be Bob but now that I am back from the dead, I AM NOW FRED!!!"

I don't know, maybe Fred wanted a fresh start.
