I noticed that too, especially since I can't effing waiting for the game and can't stop watching the trailer.

I heard the sound in another trailer, too. I can't remember which one, might have been another MW2 trailer.

I heard the two metalic type sounds effects like the ones used in tf1, but im not seeing it as a copywrite issue cause it wasn't a song or something directly fron the tf movie, if it was a legal thing i'm sure the person wouldn't of used it, or that Michael Bay would have gone to them

So is there some sound effects archive ? Many movies I have seen, I could of sworn used the same sound clips for effects.
Could be the same for this I guess.

i don't know I guess anyone that has proper equiptment for doing sound effects could mimic the sound, and yeah its seen all over the movie world so its not surprising to see it used like this to.

I hope Harry Gregson-Williams does the game's soundtrack again, it made parts of the first one feel like The Rock.

Hey, funny there's a thread about this.
I am just one of you, I freaked too when I saw the trailer for the first time.

I have a .wmv-file from May 25th, 2009 and it's called

Call-Of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2_Reveal_trailer_Uncut_ESRB_HD_5_1_audio.wmv

and it weighs about 141 MB.
I guess I have it from gametrailers.net (or .com?) or from the official site, but now that I've read the thread and downloaded the reveal trailer again (as .wmv) and the distinctive Transformers sound isn't there anymore. They must have switched it. But I think it's good, it was a bit too obvious...
