Judge Dredd - imho the greatest action hero of them all. I wrote two Dredd screenplays and it would be a dream come true if someone like Mr Bay read them and showed them to a studio.
Essentially Dredd is Dirty Harry meets Star Wars - that's the vision, the scale. It's nothing like the Sylvester Stallone Dredd film from 1995. That was a goofy version. A proper Dredd film would have Dredd as a tough but fair Judge trying to stop crime in an insane future city called Mega-City 1. I know Mr Bay will never consider my screenplays nor any studio accept unsolicted submissions but Dredd has so much potential.
This is a mock Dredd poster I created (based on an exiting image, I modified it):

"Judge Joe Dredd is a comics character whose strip in the British science fiction anthology 2000 AD is the magazine's longest running (having been featured there since its second issue in 1977). Dredd is a law enforcement officer in a violent city of the future where uniformed Judges combine the powers of police, judge, jury and executioner. Dredd and his fellow Judges are empowered to arrest, sentence and even execute criminals on the spot. He was created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, although editor Pat Mills also deserves some credit for his early development.
Judge Dredd is amongst Britain's best known home-grown comic characters. So great is the character's reputation that his name is sometimes invoked over similar issues to those explored by the comic series, such as the police state, authoritarianism and the rule of law.[1] Judge Dredd was named the seventh greatest comic character by the magazine Empire."

I guarantee Mr Bay a proper Dredd film would rival Transformers and other classic sci-fi films.

It's like trying to win the lottery. Post on a top Hollywood director's website and try and convince him to A) read your screenplays and B) want to make them. And of course there's C) I don't own Dredd. But the end of my I AM THE LAW Dredd screenplay is Dredd and his judges fighting an army of robots. It's not so far removed from Transformers. Although Dredd is a darker character.
