    Default Post something random..

about someone on the site. it can be anyone of your choosing if you lack the brain power to think of someone just pick the person above you.

I'll star things off with a fictionalized account of a conversation with nelson

NElson: Dude why are you one of the best mods ever?

thegreat/gunrock: man i am just doing my part. trying to hold it down for chicago!! you feel me homie?

nelson: dude you are fucking awesome the way you do what you do. How radical can one man be? your like the savior of the internet.

thegreat/gunrock: you are a bad motherfookie foo yourself Nelson. I mean you took a chance... a chance with me. that means a lot my dammie. I mean who would take a chance on a poor little irish kid out of chicago.

    Nelson: Me bra!! ME!

Thegreat/gunrock: I thank you for that sun cause wit out you my dude I would not have claimed the title of king of the internets.

Nelson: Listen bra...you freaking made it so tubular in here. I mean i was floating on a surfboard with no waves. then you came in and shook things up. brought a wave and got me back in touch with the ocean. I can finally feel mother natures kiss against my neck again. I mean dude this is all that matters is this feeling of cosmic connection.

thegreat/gunrock: liste my guy you da man i am out call me when cats need to be muted like Neo was when agent smith had that dude in the interrogation room!!

Me, I think one of the most memorable people here is Sora. She's a chick, she's from Japan and she posted all those way cool Cybertronian symbols - awesome work BTW!

And Barricade, he really does go off (in a good way) when posting.. passionate come to mind when I read his posts - he really lives up to his Decepticon incarnation.

Gotta admit Sora is a cool chic, but back on the topic; err off topic rather.

Did you know that there is NO SUCH THING AS Sherbert. I swear. It's Sherbet. If you ever go anywhere and they have SHERBERT for dessert offer them a free boot up the ass.

Oh, and on the Rosie O' front... Is that bitch just nuts? Someone needs to give her a snausage, and tell her September the 11th wasn't a hit job... First time in history she claims steel has EVER melted... Damn lady I wanna get Her, Bill O'Reiley, Bill Mahr, and Anne Coulter in the same room with Al Sharpton... Now that's Must see T.V.. I could think of a George Carlin like rant to plug in right about *here*

P.S. Oh, and back to Sora... Moe... it was a pic of a tattoo... if that inda thing excites you wow... buy a copy of the sears catalogue /sarcasm

theGreat thought about changing his name to Upgrayedd before deciding on Gunrock.

That's Upgrayedd spelled with two D's, for a double dose of his moderating.

Well, word on the street is that URY STILL hasn't seen The Departed...

That you can quote me on:

    Also 2 things
On the Progressive commercial where the chic comes to the door and her kids are going nuts. She goes in shuts the door tells em to be quiet, and I SWEAR I hear a gun shot... does she shoot her kids?!

One more commercial thing. The Pill commercial with Robert Jarvik (heart doc)... that dude looks like a balding George Bush... I'm gonna photoshop or get a side by side comparison. Loo and you'll see.

No, no, not That Pill, it's for Plavix for the nasty crude building up inside the heart (step away from the fried food, please). I actually don't see what you see, but his eyes have always kind of been different...rather unsettling, Jarvik's, not Bush.
ROFL, I found a site w/ Jarvik and Bush
    http://www.secrettwins.com/2006/08/p...rt-jarvik.html

Tell me they aren't related. If Obama is a distant Cheney cousin then there's gotta be something there.

You have to see that commercial. I see it on FOX news a lot. The lady closes the door and you hear a gun shot. It's like the old HotPotato game commercial that I always saw this 1 id had a bloody nose. Call it Random...

AND WATCH THE DEPARTED.... then you can join in w/ me in ridiculing Ury. If you cannot tell me that it's the greatest American crime drama ever ...well just say I hope you got the 2 disc version.

OH, and finally people realize Barry Bond's might actually be lying about steroid use... wow.

Who's the craziest bastard on this earth? O.J. Simpson, Michael Jackson, Kim Jong Ill *sp*, Paul W.S. Anderson (ok I took a pot shot).
O.J. you can't just go around killin' white women! If every man in a bad marriage took his lead the divorce rate would plumit, but the murder rate would jump drastically. Thats where we use Guantanamo Bay... for the murderers who didn't wanna get a divorce.

9-11 was one of the biggest US cover ups in history. The reason for the attacks is not 100% clear, though the origins of the attack came from us, what is clear, is that we could have killed Osama many times, but didn't, we are still over seas, for oil and gold!!! Bush played a role in the attacks. The SOB didnt even win the elections, he bought them.

You have enough money, you can buy ANYTHING!!!!!

Bush is a prime example of this!!!

9-11 was an attack on America, by America. Just so we can obtain oil and gold and then turn around and triple there price on American soil, yet leave tax payers in the wake, as such, each American citizen owes the US government at least $20,000 to pay for the 1.5 trillion dollar war in iraq since 9-11 US based attacks. Isn't that a lil funny???

Cheney not Bush, that guy had Addington and the Justice Department go around the Senate to declare a bill for war time Executive Powers, and Cheney pushed Bush to use Executive Privilage to an almost criminal level. The wire taps and all.

@ury: Not at a price, I'll still love ya. But watch it and then you'll really like me even more for telling you too.

@Bee: Awww, Yea it is a bit intricate in the begining. It's not as action oriented until the last 45 minutes. But, from Jack's "Gnawing Heathing Rats" scene that film is a raging inferno of tension. I just figured out everything. And because of the other cop at the end it closes up any other suspicion. (and I mean the one at the elevator not Dingnam)

The Departed is a great movie...but I think Raging Bull is Scorcese's best.

Goodfellas is next. Then The Departed. I did really really like Jack Nic's character though. He is a great great evil guy.

And a great Joker....can't wait to see what Heath Ledger does in TDK.

Gnawing HEETHING Fucking Rats... that man's facial expression on that line is just so damn cool. Came on again on HBO last night. I always fall asleep with the TV on, and it's been The Departed the past few nights. It really has zero plot holes, I started writing things down to connect the dots and there aren't any. Even Sullivan as the rat and why no one question's him is answered. (that's not a spoiler btw)

The whole movie blew me away, and I walked out of the theater going "HUH???"

Lol! I guess you could say there is a borderline obsession with it. I wish I had one, is the thing. It's one of 2 one-off helmets custom made for Daft Punk for about $65k each. It's able to display anything from facial expressions to various objects through the LED's. They recently came out with an art film called Electroma where everyone in a town was a robot that had a version of the helmets on. Creepy but cool.

I just consider them to be innovators in a sometimes dull electronic musical scene (especially live). They turned their entire second album (Discovery) into an short Anime movie. Among other things.
