XP. Got it for my birthday ohhhh about two years ago I suppose. I loves it. (Don't you get any ideas there Megs....)

It's been good for me. However, my brother bought a dell....and he cracked the screen two days after having it (put a pen on the keyboard, then shut the screen....and put pressure on it.)

Dell charged him twice for the repairs, then my mom had to threaten legal action on them to get them to refund him the second charge. Took them about six months or so.

Then, they recalled his battery, but he was in France at the time, so when my mom got it, she sent it to him for thirty freakin' bucks!! And it doesn't even weight a whole pound.

Sooo I'm just beaming with mine. Even though my next one will be a Mac. Just waiting on the prices to go down. I work on a Mac at work and get confused when I come home to a PC.

Because he's used to putting an ink pen on the keyboard, and forgot about it. He shut it and then when it didn't shut all the way, he put pressure on it.

Man....it was not pretty either. He spent a fortune on that thing. It works great now, of course after spending hours on the phone with Dell trying to get a quote and all that.

But hey, a year now with no problems!

Ya but if Microsoft keeps putting their software into our military units and ford cars we will have real life transformers or terminators soon I could really see microsoft becoming sentient and useing ford's plants to mass produce some kind of robots.

Well I've only sold about 20 of them or so on eBay. If you want to check my record out heres my link: Click here! If you are within the US, they usually arrive within 2-3 days. Since its a 6 pound item it averages out to be about $20 for S&H. For canadians I had to charge $27. And then I always get delivery confirmation so you can track it thru www.usps.com

They were? Really? Hmm.. didn't notice that. I noticed they were all HP's and I thought all HP's were Windows based. At least the 2 laptops used at the beginning by the Sergeant, his wife and their new baby girl were HP's. Then later on when they were in the bunker room at Hoover Dam with the Defense Secretary they dusted off an old computer just to get a signal out and used basic Dos like type programming. Didn't seem very Mac to me. Where was it they used Mac's?

Basically in the Pentagon and Sam had a Macbook.

Yes, you're right, I forgot about the first scenes with Lennox and his wife.
