Now, that would make the movie for me.

Let's go back in time to one of my very posts against Dinobots:

There's a fundamental issue here. I really don't see why an autobot transforming into a dinosaur would be practical. We already have cars and trucks and planes and all kinds of stuff for them to transform into. Plus, it ruins the whole "Robots in Diguise" thing. Turning into a big t-rex isn't gonna help you blend in very well! If there were Dinobots, their only purpose would be in the benefit of Hasbro, to sell toys.

It's been over a year since I posted this and I still make this stand to this very day. Though right now I have noticed that bots like Soundwave and the two "no-names" we saw in the trailer have no real Earth disguise, probably because they won't need any. But still, why have an alt mode that resembles a beast that existed 65 f*cking million years ago? For Ravage and Scorponok, it's okay, because their beast modes exist today! With Scorponok, he can hide in the damn sand if he wants! Ravage? Well, he's a kitty, cats are smart, they can pop out from nowhere. I'd like to see a T-Rex try that.

But that's not the point with T-Rex's.
They bring destruction, not sneaking. The purpose of the Dinobots has never been to disguise themselves from something or someone, it has always been to bring the fight to the Decepticons.
Don't bring a sword to a gunfight so to speak (unless you are a Jedi, which the Transformers are not).

I could do with the Dinobots if they gave them a good explanation. Every army have (had) some shock troops that stood out from the normal soldiers and struck fear into the hearts of the enemies.
I'm not asking for a bunch of supersized robot dinosaurs stomping around in NY, I'm just asking for some form of Dinobots fighting the Decepticons, be it that they are ancient and have a powerful alt-mode that resembles beasts from ancient times/tales or something similar.
Grimlock and his claims for the Autobot leadership would be very interesting to watch and follow, the ultimate evolutionist (survival of the fittest/strongest/most capable) and an extremely skilled warrior.

3:The sisters kicking some metal hide
4: Pretender revealing herself as Ravage/ Laserbeak
5: Optimus/ Jetfire taking on Devastator/ Fallen in final explosive confrontation

I want the twins to flick off Megatron at some moment. I don't care the scene, I just want it to happen. It's something that I would do if I were them. Just give him the bird before blasting his face off.

I'm not a huge Dinobot fan, but I would understand it! if they explain it right (which they can!)

Because the giant scorpion is well suited for its sand environment it can hide underground. Using all the sand as an ocean. While a giant dinosaur is just ridiculous it would stick out in any environment (except on the set of a jurrasic park movie).

Because, if I'm correct, the dinobots in their dino mode look like flesh, while scorponok is still metallic and robotic. If their was one Autobot that's sorta in the shape of a Dinosaur, but metallic like Scorponok, that would be a fitting tribute to the Dinobots in a Michael Bay version of Transformers.
