Who thinks Primes trailer should make an apperance in t2?

IMO I just don't see how it would work, I mean what happen when Prime arrives at a battle would he habe to park his trailer first, cause they can't have the trailer just come flying off like it did in the cartoon.

Oh no ,I agree It couldn't be in a battle scene,but say its a science station that the humans and the autobots create using transforming technology,it doesn't need to be in the whole movie maby just a scene or two.

Prime's trailer can have a unique transformation.......just gotta think outta the box.......He can leave his trailer parked in an alley if need be.....or block traffic to keep humans away from a battle.

Also, We all know Prime is heroic and will risk his life for anyone, but he doesn't need to be the first bot on the battle scene. As Commander, he occasionally needs to coordinate his troops from a distance.

Hey Rad not to cause an arguement here, what you said just now has been said already by me and other's. I agree with you and whether it transforms or not is something that Bay should perhaps do a poll on. Not a fan one started by me. I sure would like to get Mr Bay's views on this.

I've actually stated this myself if you go back to page one I'm one of the first and have been putting up many posts here.I Know you said that.I have said but I'm the actual guy who who came up with the autobots working alongside the government in good faith to develop the trailer. secondly if you do like your telling others to do read the whole 9 pages of posts you will notice this guy came on and said he didn't think the trailer could be done,when I asked him why he sent a responce then I sent mine,so you see friend their is no reason to argue as we both agree.and I do think bay should do a poll on this idea,what you think nelson.

I think there should be a trailer, but just a plan 'ol trailer. What does he use it for? Hauling stuff! This would be a cool plot device in the beginning of TF2, they should show the Autobots adapting to human life on Earth...showing scenes such as Ratchet working for the fire department (though they don't know it), Ironhide as Will Lennox's truck, Bumblebee being buds Sam and Mikala, and Optimus Prime having his own trucking service (he is driven by some guy of course, not a hologram though). However, I don't agree with it being used in battle, it would simply get in the way.

I just think "no trailer", not with that big autobot insignia. Though it would make sense if blending in, it usually got in the way of battle, and once Prime decides to transform for battle, he would've lost it. The trailer would just get in the way.

I have to vote no on this. As many others have stated before me the trailer was more of an annoyance in the cartoon with it's magical disapearing act.


That being said I think it would be awesome if he where pulling a trailer as part of his cover in a scene, as a little funny thing to please the old timers such as us.

I agree...I think it is possible to do the scene in an unsilly way or realistic way as well.I think if prime was hauling the trailer to a location and the trailer was a thing that humans created with the autobots,using transformer technology and human ingenuity. it would make for a great one time fan scene.I don't think the trailer should be in a battle sequence but should be featured being dropped off at a remote location and show the scout and technology used...I always thought of the trailer less transformer than the bot.

I could see them doing it with nano-camouflage like in Die Another Day or something but ultimately it probably would be stupid.

I'd have to say I could care less either way. Really all his trailer was used for, was a repair bay on the go. And with the way Bay designed Transformers, its as if they appear to regenerate theirs own body structures (granted that their spark has yet to be extinguished). So its rather pointless to have a repair bay. It might be cool just to see him hauling something, but I dont' think its necessary.

Honestly I don't really care one way or the other. Only way I see them pulling it off is if Prime is under cover as a big rig who hauls shit around and has a trailer bed because of it.
