Who thinks Primes trailer should make an apperance in t2?

I think it would be great if prime had his trailer in at least one scene in t2. Just here me out for a sec. We all know that prime pulled his trailer eveywhere he went in the cartoon and fair enough it not being in the first one as it would look silly when he transformed and his trailer just either got in the way or disappeared. I think that prime should tow his trailer in the t2 and have it open up as per the cartoon and actually become the autobots base or part of it. Then it just stays as the base and doesn't go anywhere. Also roller has to make an appearance as well just for a nod to the fans.

If the allspark can transform into something that can be held in the palm of your hand, then I see no reason why the trailer couldn't do the same thing as Optimus transforms...I do hope we see it in Transformers 2..

Eh... I don't agree with that. The Allspark is a god-like element. It can do anything. On the other hand, Optimus really couldn't do that because the Cybertronians are more like humans. They're not gods.

Because of that fact, those things wouldn't show up in the sequel. The movie was made to look like it was happening in real life. It's the whole thing with Megatron transforming into a gun: it defies physics.

As for the whole trailer bit, I think it would just make the plot completely confusing.

But, I'm not trying to bash your idea because it's a good one.

Well how do you figure it would make the plot confusing? Seeing how the autobots are now stuck here on earth, Prime has a few choices for a base but seeing how the trailer could be used as the base it would be a great use for the trailer. That way it is only seen in a couple of scenes as he tows it along and finally finds a place that the autobots can establish a base.

However Bay may decide to go "well seeing how hoover dam is now unoccupied and is big enough for the robots to walk around in, we'll use that"

I always thought the two best ways to incorporate Prime's trailer into one of the live action movies would be one of the following:

1) It merges with his robot mode, like in so many of the toylines.

2) Its only in there for one or two scenes, such as Prime hauling some of his fellow autobots within a boxtrailer they "borrowed" from a human trucking facility. The possible reasons for this are many, such as a surprise attack from the bots inside, or hauling away robots so wounded they cant move.

As I said above when I opened this thread, the trailer doesn't have to open into the autobots base it can be part of it or even a mobile tracking station so they can track the decepticons using their technology. As was stated by one of the other's here having his trailer power link with him just like in armada won't work and I think most fans would agree that if that happened it would be kind of like watching one of the power rangers movies where they morph......not good.

Also as stated by barricade having a semi without the trailer is very odd and what makes a semi a semi?......the trailer. I am sure that Mr Bay goes through these threads and would probably see this and think to himself "hmm that could work..."

there's more than one leaked script? I have the first one,send me the link for the second one. As for the trailer I'm in aggreance. He could use it. say as a way of scientifically working along side the humans.though not taking it everywhere. but have it in certain circumstanses that dictated it.

There really shouldn't be a trailer. He looked great in the first movie (robot and vehicle) and after seeing the 'sketches' of him with the trailer? No. Besides, what if the trailer mysteriously disappeared like in G1? That would be annoying.

It could mean that one was sent out and because so many people get it, it can be easily misconstrued as more than just that one. And I am not going to go on a fishing expidition just to prove it. Also I said that as a closing statement not one to be investigated or questioned further. Also he is leaking the false scripts out to put people off, if you want to believe everything you read then who am I to stop you? Seriously dude let it go.

Both Armada and Powermaster Prime's were way to blocky. If the trailer was to combine with prime, it would have to do so in a way that wouldn't limit his dexterity. I just can't picture a giant lego block doing flips and twists and lookin cool at the same time

If roller does appear, why not give him a transformation as well. I always thought he was kinda useless without a transformation anyway. What can a 6x6 cart do other than roll around??

Hey your the one who typed this not me I just asked a simple question is there more than one leaked script and if so can you link it to me? secondly as beleiving everything I read.I don't I am one of the first people that after reading it said it was obviously a faked script. The trailer behind Prime while in Vehicle mode is redundant. There is no significance other than being a burden while driving. Basically, the designers for Prime in the earlier cartoons did not focus on logic at all. After all, it was going to be a "stupid toy movie" for children below the age of 12. Even the previous Transformers game did without the trailer.

But somehow rather, maybe the inclusion of the trailer in TF2 would ne useful if it were to play a crucial role in the movie. Such as transporting people, important objects or even serve as a hiding place for the smaller transformers.

As Prime(member) mentioned, the trailer may be as iconic as the autobot symbol, so probably having Optimus Prime to perform some tasks that a REAL truck would do may be such a good idea after all.

lmao,If you had read the posts you would see some of us came up with the idea of prime working with the humans,and building the trailer as part transport part scientific station,there's many uses the trailer could provide,but with that said.I don't think it needs to be overly involved in the script either. Maby in a scene or two. And for many the trailer is iconic as you stated and might not be so redundant...I personally own 20 anniversary edition prime, and can't tell you how disapointed I was not to get his trailer.but that's just me.

I have to vote no on this. As many others have stated before me the trailer was more of an annoyance in the cartoon with it's magical disapearing act.


That being said I think it would be awesome if he where pulling a trailer as part of his cover in a scene, as a little funny thing to please the old timers such as us.

I agree...I think it is possible to do the scene in an unsilly way or realistic way as well.I think if prime was hauling the trailer to a location and the trailer was a thing that humans created with the autobots,using transformer technology and human ingenuity. it would make for a great one time fan scene.I don't think the trailer should be in a battle sequence but should be featured being dropped off at a remote location and show the scout and technology used...I always thought of the trailer less transformer than the bot.
