Dont know if there is a thread on it. I apologize if there is.

Just saw the trailer for GI Joe for the first time. Strangely enough, I saw it on A&E. I have to admit, it didn't look too bad. Looks like they've got a pretty good storyline, but this was just a trailer so no one can be sure. Anyone else seen it yet?

If you take a look closely at the G.I Joe Trailer. It seems a dead good movie but Wait a MINUTE, that last scene of the trailer where the girl shoots some rockets at the G.I Joes, doesn't that scene looks like when IRONHIDE is fighting Blackout in the first Transformers? Slow motion rockets, Ironhide evades those in a stylish mode. G.I Joe producers shall thank Micheal Bay for this scene!!

When I saw the Superbowl spot I assumed the Suits were being worn by Cobra, maybe Alley Vipers.

But for some reason knowing they are Joe's just seems cheesy to me.

This will definitely wait for Netflix.

They look like the suits from Crysis only not as cool.

It looks worth a matinee.

The CG in this new trailer looks absolutely awful. Just look at the "plow" they attached to the Hummer at 1:33. It looks as bad as the CG in the new Knight Rider.

I was a bigger G.I. Joe fan then I was a Transformer fan as a wee little one, but I just ain't feeling any excitement on this one for some reason. I don't know if it's because I'm so biased on who makes it or what.... It just doesn't sport the same visual excellence that I see in all of Michael Bay's work. It tries to, but falls flat.

And I think it suffers from the "super hero complex" where every character needs to look overly cool and cocky with no sense of humor and the typical cheesy "I'm a superhero" or "I'm the bad guy" shots.

There is a little bit of that in Transformers, but it's evened out by the goofy, grounded, comedic, everyday- average -bloke characters such as Sam, his parents and even Turturro's character.

But even the "superhero" shots in Transformers don't feel like they are trying so hard to be superhero shots.

Just like those Smart FourTwo cars popping up here and there, I want to like it... I really do. But I just don't. The Mini Cooper is just so much better at the trendy small car thing, and there is no substitute.

As ScarCrow28 has mentioned the CGI is awful. I just hope it isn't released like that and some of it is unfinished.

I'm not quite sure why that would be important.

If Scarletts hair isn't important, why would the suits be....didn't they come from the Sigma 6 cartoon series? Still is GI Joe.... this arguement seens eerily familiar to many who argued about TF not being faithful to G1!!!
