Mini imax? is there even such a thing, given that mini and max are two opposites.
or were just jokingly referring to your local standard cinema.

There was a discussion some time ago about subpar IMAX cinemas with pretty tiny screens compared to the real thing.

I found this on DarkHorizons.com it is a video made up of the audio from the extended trailer with footage from Team America: World Police. And i must say it's pretty well done.

Cameron is already talking sequels before the film is even released worldwide.

    http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...goryid=13&cs=1
    http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/159...avatar-sequels

Speaking at a press conference in London, James Cameron confirms that should "Avatar" do well that two potential sequels could be in the works reports Variety.

How is that possible considering the cost? Unlike a lot of other franchises, many of the assets (namely CG backgrounds and elements) and technology is already in place which should make further films cheaper to produce.

Cameron says "in terms of the pitch it was: OK, you've spent a lot of money on the first one; on the second one we'll be able to amortize it [the CG assets] and focus on the story and all that ... and they bought that."

Cameron adds that he has worked out the story for a second and third film. Fox however says while the property clearly has sequel potential, the studio would not confirm any plans for further instalments.

Smurfs or not, I still can't accept the look of these creatures. They're just...too weird. But soon we'll see if Cameron knew what he was doing.

I'm tired of hearing about how much it costs, and how long it took to make. If I am interested, I'll watch it. I refuse to see a movie based solely on budget and time.
