hahahahahahahahah great review, especially at the end. i lol'd hard.
I just watched that review too, and it was a hoot!
You obviously haven't seen any movies! I personally think Cameron is a great director despite his big ego and honestly he takes more time to make movies than Bay. Cameron and Bay are my 2 favorite directors and Transformers has been my favorite movie of all time but after watching Avatar, I have to say it was a far better experience and the story was deep but unoriginal. The only reason why Transformers 2 gets so much hate along with bay is because they don't understand his style of directing. But I think both directors are great!
"My story is of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon."
I liked "Avatar" and I don't like the Oscars in general, but Sigourney Weaver is really pushing it.

I'm starting to lose respect for this woman.
"You know why the departures and the arrivals at LAX are on separate levels? So the 30,000 heartbreakers that come here each month don't notice the 30,000 that are leaving with their hearts broken."
So does anyone plan to get the DVD/Blu-Ray next week?
I'm not,I'm waiting til Nov. when it comes packed with all the special featues, behind the scenes stuff and all. This one is just the movie.

Additionally, the $29.98 DVD and $39.99 Blu-Ray will not come packed with extras — or any extras at all — because both Cameron and the studio wanted to deliver the film in all of its ground-breaking digital glory, which, of course, takes up precious disc space. Nevertheless, Fox says that a loaded, multi-disc edition will hit stores in November.
I sort of agree with sigourney here.
I mean, Cameron did create his own movie from scratch. He wrote Avatar. He Directed the movie. He developed his own 3D technology. He designed most of the creatures. He created all the Characters. He was part producer of Avatar. Best of all, he created his own beautiful world for the film.........Pandora.
Of course, it goes without saying. But Weaver went too far and attacked "The Hurt Locker" just because it's a "small movie that nobody saw". So, just because it's a small independent movie directed by a woman, and not a lot of people saw it, it's not good enough to win an Oscar or any other award?
Come on...
Not to mention playing the gender card.
"You know why the departures and the arrivals at LAX are on separate levels? So the 30,000 heartbreakers that come here each month don't notice the 30,000 that are leaving with their hearts broken."
People say things, and sometimes people you're fans of (I'm a big fan of Weaver) say things you question. But I think it's blown way out of proportion and who knows if she actually said that or not or was just being sarcastic. The media loves this crap I tell ya.
But at least she only said something. Let's not forget the little stunt that The Hurt Locker's producer Nicolas Chartier pulled that got him banned form the Academy Awards ceremony...that being, emailing academy members to sway them to vote for his movie.![]()

Well you all have to remember that The Matrix wasn't very original either and that was groundbreaking like Avatar. The Matrix was more of a mix of original Sci-fi movie works like Blade Runner, Terminator 1 & 2, Dark City, Akira, Ghost in The Shell, Metropolis etc. to other stuff like John Woo's hong kong works to all the way to anime shows like Dragonball Z. Similar to how Avatar is similar to Dances with Wolves, Heavy Metal magazine and 1981 animated movie, old westerns like Broken Arrow (1950), 2001, Total Recall and more.
But both are unoriginal yet they are awesome movies.
I'm waiting for the extended director's cut special edition Blu-Ray this november, i'm not gonna buy the barebones Blu-Ray. I'm waiting as i will just rent this movie.

we decepticons now face our darkest hour:megatron from transformers prime
Got the Blu Ray and it's a great transfer, but it definately loses alot without the 3D experience in my opinion. Still a good movie though for sure.
i was told maybe this august or next year
we decepticons now face our darkest hour:megatron from transformers prime
And apparently hes willing to release it with the extra 20 minutes of extra footage that was meant to be in the original theatrical release, but due to time constraints, they couldn't.
Im definitaley up for a second viewing of this film in theaters with the 20 minutes of extra footage.
Tried to watch it again... got bored during the Na'vi retaliation scenes, and decided it be better to go to sleep![]()
