You make me sigh. How is it that there are two of you who are too engrossed by the pretty picture to read what the post was in response to? It's getting annoying. Backseat modders who jump to conclusions before getting any context are the best.
It's ironic that you're talking about constructive posts when yours actually has nothing to do with anything where as mine that showed the guy's opinion of Avatar looking like a 1999 film is ridiculous.
It's kinda sad when I have to go over these posts like ten times to simplify them because I keep thinking you won't read it and just come back with "DUDE ITZ NOT FUNNY STOP!"
It just occured to me how much more amusing this one is though. You must have skipped the last page and a half because you wanted to say that.

That's precisely why I wrote that. A friend of mine on another message board put that up. Got tons of laughs from it!
It is sad, and very hypocritical of others. It's OK to bash a film on a forum that is from the dude who directed it, but if someone gets sarcastic on a film "they" like, then they get all bent out of shape. Hate to see them go to a Howard Stern concert, they'd probably die from shock right there in the auditorium.
Hey, don't dumb yourself down because some are not so bright on this here forum. Don't let them force you to do what NBC forced Conan to do.![]()
Look, I'm very sorry. I made a bad mistake.
I must have just gotten a little annoyed at the jokes and I went too far.
And please, don't let Warhorse make you think I'm "not so bright" just because I didn't laugh at the jokes. I just don't detect pure sarcasm very easily.
But, yes I did read it properly and agree about the Spider-Man people.
Since many people actually hate AVATAR with a vengeance, I will not bother to defend it anymore.
I sincerly apologise and please forgive me. I did not mean to offend you.

Multiple trips to see it is helping this topple Titanic, not long now.

Kickass dude! this could be an academy award contender since it's such a unique and fascinating movie about humanity and nature in another world.
Zoe's character rivals Demona from Gargoyles and Mystique from the X-Men comics in terms of sexy blue beauties.
China to pull Avatar from cinemas, poses a threat to mainstream Chinese patriotic film Confucius.

Zoe deserves an Oscar nomination.
i had this weird dream lastnight.. someone gave me tix to see avatar this woman had a titanic t-shirt on i looked at her and said
you know this will surpass titanic she gave me the 3rd degree, i said it was bound to happen.. she walked off in a huff

I made a bet against this girl today at school that Avatar would beat Titanic. Even though she thought Avatar was awesome she LOVES Titanic and absolutely does not want anyone beating it. Whoever loses the bet has to go get a drink from the vending machine for the winner.

Back on Topic:
Making of Featurette - Some old stuff, some new. But most notably past the 10 min mark you get a glimpse at some of the sfx techniques. (Simulcam, facial capture, etc.) Cool.
22 Minutes of Video Footage – Creating the World of Pandora
Avatar too Exciting – Man DiesEven if you are not a fan of Avatar, this is impressive and interesting to watch. Yahoo Movies has released a 22 minute featurette on Creating the World of Pandora. Very cool and enjoyable to watch.
Seems a doctor lays claim that the invigorating excitement caused by watching Avatar is responsible for a frail man’s stroke which lead to his death.
/Film shares
A 42-year-old Taiwanese man died of a stroke, which his doctor claims was likely triggered by “over-excitement” from watching James Cameron’s Avatar in 3D. According to News.com.au, the man began to feel sick during a screening earlier this month and was taken to hospital. Its a bit of a stretch, but still morbidly amusing that they would place this man in such a high risk that the amusement of watching a visually stimulating movie was enough to trigger the events that lead to his death.
I mean if we are going to set this chain off saying Avatar killed him, shouldn’t we also look at his history of high blood pressure? Perhaps we should they say that a pig killed him because he ate too much bacon? Or say his father killed him for handing down a genetic likelyhood to heart disease?
I find this kind of story interesting, but at the same time it is sensationalism that attaches a very small picture to a life of conditions that all lead to this unfortunate circumstance.
So yeah, the movie was so awesome it caused his head to explode. That’s what happened.
