Hi, i decided to post because no one else seems to have done what i have done.
Last friday I was trying to work out the username/password for the site but no luck. seems only one guy on here has had a quick look.
I use firefox as the web browser so i decided to click on tools/pageinfo to see if i could find some hidden info on the site.
i looked at cookies and there was a link to unfiction.com.
i went there and it was about Alternate Reality Gaming. i had no idea what that was so i went to the quick start guide. anyway it was obviouse this was an ARG site.
one of the teqniques with these sort of games is to send emails to the certain characters. so thats what i did. because i couldnt figure out the login details i thought there was no harm. i knew leo spitz ran the site. he must have an email address at that site. i wont tell you what it is, you can figure it out for yourself.
here's what i got back:
"Thanks for writing to the official e-mail of Leo Ponce de Leon Spitz (TM)! If you are a dude, you rock, bro. If you are a Real Effin' Lady, please leave your digits and some pics for the Spitz. If youare the media, e-mail my agent, Sharkatron3000."
so far so good. but no login details. but i did get another address for this mysteriouse Sharkatron3000.
so i emailed him and here's what i got:
"Can't reply right now. I'm hunting down the latest on the Mission City conspiracy and/or photoshopping kittens."
sort of weird. well thats where i have gotten up to, im not to sure what to do next. ive tried searching the web for kittens and mission city etc. but nowhere seems to have any more clues.
hope you guys can help me work it out. maybe we have to wait a little longer for the login details to use these clues. not sure.
chris
Can someone post a link to the site?.... no matter what i try i can't get to the site.

i got an email back from the site owner, and i quote "Nope. Good luck finding him, tho.' after i asked him if "this was leo Spitz?"

It seems we will never get into this site![]()

Hi.
because everyone is stuck on what to do next to get those login details, here's the email addresses for leo spitz and sharkatron3000.
they are pretty simple but still don't seem to help us logging in to the site yet.
leo@therealeffingdeal.com
sharkatron3000@therealeffingdeal.com
also i tried the following address but got no reply but i think it is active.
truth@therealeffingdeal.com
maybe we have to send a special keyword to get a response. just a thought
im still trying to work out what photoshopping kittens has to do with anything. maybe something someone does in the movie.
i think maybe these email addresses are used when we can login to the site. they may make more sense then.
chris.
I usually don't care for sites like this, But damn, it's bugging me!

Perhaps using those numbers people figured out in an email, seeing Leo asks for the ladie to leave him some "digits"..
Hmm.
"I can change almost anything - But I can't change human nature." -Dr Manhattan/Jon Osterman
Emailed 'Leo' with the number's 091784 and attached two pictures (As he asks for the ladies to leave some pics and some digits)
The normal reply for any email to him has the subject 'Auto Reply: [SPAM]' - I received one called 'Auto Reply: No Subject' and it said the exact same thing..
But I reckon if you email him some certain numbers, we will move further..

hi, i'm a member from unfiction (specifically, the forums portion of that site) ...i'd just thought i'd mention that unfiction is not a ARG site. it's a site where we, the people, discuss ARGs and look for clues and how to solve them (just like what you guys are doing here)
if you look here, you can see that we are also discussing therealeffingdeal.com site here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/v...ic.php?t=27786
i'm not sure how you got unfiction.net from the cookies in that site (i didn't) and i've looked over our own site and nowhere did i see anyone named leo spitz running the site - instead, our site is managed and run by SpaceBass.
to put it simply, unfiction.net and its forums are OOG (out of game)
(replying to my previous post since i'm unable to edit)
okay, it appears i was a bit confused - leo spitz is a character from the new movie, so i see - but how did you find his info? it appeared as if you found it on unfiction, but i'm probably mistaken.
(apologies for the triple post)
gah, how could i miss that! leo's name was used in combination with the website's address for the email!
sorry for the confusion, lack of sleep must be interfering with my thought process![]()
hi,
im not sure why when i went to the site therealeffingdeal.com there was cookies that were showing a link to unfiction.com.
all i know is when i went to unfiction it talked about ARG.
i went to the quick start guide somewhere and it talked about what ARG is,
because i had no idea what it was, but it talked about how you can find more info on ARG sites. one of the ideas was to email the site owner.
so i experimented and finnally tried leo@therealeffingdeal.com and it worked.
i have tried recently to look at the cookies when i go to therealeffingdeal.com but nothing comes up now.
unfiction.com was simply where i got the idea to email leo spitz for the login info.
i know unfiction has no link to transformers etc but i thought it was interesting i found the link there from the therealeffingdeal.com.
especially since i had no idea unfiction was a place that talked about these kind of sites.

Guys, Mission CIty incident was at the end of the first Transformers.
I can't believe no one has caught that.
Remember Lexxox's line "Let's get the cube to Mission City, but we can't make a stand w/o the airforce" (or w/e)
It's about what the gov has to cover-up.
The Mission City Incident is what happened as the final battle in TF1. So there is your answer to that puzzle. Now I just wanna know how to get to the site.
