The World Premiere will be held at Roppongi Hills Tokyo on 8th June! It says Michael, Shia and Megan are to attend.

[eiga.com Movie News] This summer, The Revenge of the Fallen, upcoming sequel of the 2007 huge blockbuster will be released in Japan on June 20th, four days earlier than the world opening date. Prior to that, also its World Premiere will be held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Tokyo on 8th June. The director Michael Bay and the stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will be attending this red carpet premiere. The highly anticipated sequel will be unveiled in "the country of birth of the franchise".

Now I wonder how to get the ticket.. I'd kill for it!

Honestly as long as I see this in IMAX, and later on Blu-ray, I'll be happy

I wish I could make it to this. But sadly this may be invitations only. Usually tickets for red carpet premieres in Japan are not for sale.

Now I really wonder.. Mr.Bay on his last post told that he had still 64 days to go of hard work until release date... But now if the movie is going to be premiered in Japan on June 8th then by that day it has to be complete... will they manage to achieve that?
Yes the Showest2009 sneak peak footage CGI was 1 month old BUT it seemed that they still had a lot of work to do on everything, I wonder if they will manage to meet such an earlier June 8th deadline...
Also, screening tests are being done from this week as far as public info can tell and what if the test audiences find something negative about the movie that needs some serious changes and/or re-editing and new CGI renderings? Will the production be able to achieve that for such an early Premiere released date considering that it would already be very hard to change anything with just 64 days left .. ?
